talk about being salty because your business is dying. make a good phone, or a social network. Or even a modern messaging service.
Or you know... just sue the companies that are actually doing those things.

Nokia has a lot of patents that brings them.money. the gsm network they invented, now they already started to sell 5g chpis...that brings them money. Most probably other type of small buisnisses, and newly, smartphones that brings them money.

4 million>850k. Profits won't even be in same ballpark let alone similar...(Nokia flagship :- 600 USD) BB flagship 650. Range. 200-600 for Nokia and 400-650 for BlackBerry. Not counting the amount TCL would take to make devices..

Wireless charging is non functional. the phone overheats and somehow manages to start draining the battery faster than it can charge it. You MUST have a cover over the back panel, or the dried Silly Putty on there will get ripped and make a mess. The camera is so-so.
Software updates to Oreo aren't going to happen. I can live with that. The phone has been around how long? How many other phones of that vintage are going to or have Oreo? So I can't really get butt-hurt about that.
As for the useless apps, yeah it has some strange ones. But it took far less time to disable that stuff than to de-crap-i-fy a Samsung phone. Uber, Twitter (Aka WWIII app), Facebook, Bixby, Direct TV
Sadly I dug out my Priv and wiped it clean for BB's trade in program. Hoping they give something useful towards a Motion. Use my S8 Active as my personal phone, and the Motion for work.

"As cybersecurity and embedded software leader..." makes me laugh, their basically barely sell any phones and they phones are not better secure than any average Android brand, BB is a BIG joke with HUGE prices

BB-android phones are the WORST phones you can buy, the final dish after the combination of BB & android recipe is the worst ever, I am saying this from my recent experience of BB Priv, I bought it with extremely high hopes because of Q10,
Firstly their are so many technical hurdles to update to marshmallow because of the android+bb security miXx software, & their no PC-Suite, so amateur team BB is.
Secondly/Lastly it just gone R.I.P started flashing Stupid Multi-Colour Lights & now it needs to be re-flashed & I had to return under warranty.
e-mailed BB-SIRT team, no reply, BB must leave the android industry & better stick with security solutions. :@

I've dragged around the Priv, both DTek phones and the Motion. Love the lack of useless apps. Love the stability. And how comical it is to make the phone go crazy by loading an app you know is "dirty". Use the BB Hub for email and watch it wack the amount of spam. Granted the Priv was a bit too delicate, the DTek's were a touch plasticy for me. But the Motion is a rock solid, reliable and runs for days on end. I'm actually very impressed by their phones. So if they're out there for those of us who use a phone as a tool, and not a toy for tools so be it.

Wow! Not that I'm into BB, but there are so many trolls defending frackbook here..
The main reason I've rooted my phones was to DELETE FRACKBOOK FOREVER!
People don't realize how many accounts are fake and being run by a.i. for fake news amd mining for crypto currency.
But what to expect from sheeps? All they know is posting lame selfies and pressing the like button..
All I see when I look at selfies on fb is how desperate for attention those people really are..
