Just like Linux makers or Microsoft have to support for example 8K screen when and if there will be those in the market.
The customers deside if the notch phones will be succesfull or not... and I predict that They will be even if I don`t personally like them. So in the future there will be much more notch phones, but luckily the nocth part works better and is more usefull than these days.

Android is providing support for what is basically a design flaw. Google should realize that the notch is just a temporary solution, but I guess OEMs has more power than Google.
And this thing about indoor tracking is just a surveillance method in disguise.

Indoor position tracking!: looks like future government control and privacy invasion-friendly feature or maybe a start for personal monitoring and military applications..this is nasty IMHO.
I hate to read this and think of its consequences...& this is just the beginning.

Will there be a dark theme?Google has blocked all custom layers for Android P, so I highly recommend buy the OnePlus 3T with AMOLED display that support substratum on last update Android Oreo without rooting or unlock, or alternatively Install Android Oreo custom ROM and install substratum.

My Huawei also had a very white theme from the factory, but installing an app allowed me to switch the theme into a dark one, made by some XDA-user. I guess there should be an app for Pixels too, I highly doubt everyone wants to use a white theme?

When you have no more new features to fill in yearly update, all you have left are gimmicks and gimmicks. What a joke our smartphone world have become :v
Anyway, it's fine. Some love it and some don't. I'll just choose older and cheaper more valuable phone anyway :)

One of the first things to delete after a root would be this spying "feature"
If smartphones will be so intrusive and spyfull, I'm going to stop using one.. or I'll open it up and remove the gps sensor.

They should've not included that notch feature to make the manufacturers find a better way with some effort to put sensors and camera, like what Vivo did to their prototype.
Ah, I forget... what Apple did, that's what we also need to do.
