"You also get indoor positioning via Wi-Fi RTT, also known as 802.11mc. If a device has hardware support for this, RTT APIs will measure the distance to nearby Wi-Fi access points - without needing to connect to those. Knowing the distance to three or more APs means you can calculate the phone's position with an accuracy of 1 to 2 meters."

Get ready for 99.99% accurate location spying. NSA & the alike are jumping up from joy.

What's the point of the notch, why I have to use it and how it will help me?

This 'notch' thing really needs to go! Just because Apple does it, the rest copies, heck, even the camera placement :D
When Apple gets rid of the notch in 2019 everyone will follow the trend and release 'notch-less' phones.

It feels like Android O DP 1 has been released just yesterday. It always comes by surprise, without an event.

Here's a fundamental rule on Android phones with Notch.

                      1. It should be all-screen. Equally slimmer bezels on top, bottom and sides. If there is a big bezel on the top and bottom is considered a pointlessly failed design.
