AnonD-739791, 12 Mar 2018I post my opinion and you accuse me of drug use? Please don... moreNo one is accusing you of drug use. It's a manner of saying (read: metaphor) that's not meant to be taken literally. All it implies is that, you don't know what you are talking about. Also, "fake news" is not what you think it is. That said, none of that is your fault as you don't seem to be a native English speaker, and I'm sorry, if anything I said, came across as a personal attack. That 720p comment was by a different person, and even he/she wasn't attacking or trying to smear you. What he/she meant, was that a hypothetical person (not necessarily you) still having a monitor with lower than 720p resolution is likely (not certainly) to have low end hardware not capable of super-sampling. Regarding the topic at hand, smoothness of a game (Frames per second) decreases as the resolution increases, unless by smoothness you mean perceived sharpness. Games run far worse with super-sampling enabled, as they are rendered at much higher resolution than the display is capable of displaying, which is taxing on the hardware, and doesn't make much of a difference other than slightly reduced jagged edges. It's similar to watching 4K videos on a 1080p display. It would look better, but nowhere near as good, as watching them on a 4K display. The reason super-sampling makes sense in case of PS4 Pro is that, older PS4 games don't make use of the extra hardware power of the PS4 pro without a patch, and most older games will never be patched for PS4 Pro. Plenty of new games by smaller developers aren't PS4 Pro enabled as well. In case of these unpatched games, the unused power of the PS4 Pro, can be used for super-sampling. And the patched games are designed to run at high resolution anyway, so there is no performance penalty in rendering them at same resolution for a 1080p display.

Anonymous, 12 Mar 2018I'd just like to point out that if you have a display that ... moreI'd also like to point out that if you want to assume how much money someone you don't know has(or perhaps low key smear them because you think they're poor), I HIGHLY doubt you will enjoy what the users of this site have to think about that and you would probably stop browsing GSMArena if you continue to attack other users because of the display you think they have.

While this is all great and that.... what does this have to do about phones, or sim cards, or GSM radio connectivity?

I feel like I'm on the wrong site here :\

                  That's great news. Finally

AnonD-739791, 08 Mar 2018I like the idea of supersampling. It can use more graphics ... moreSupersampling is waste of resources, every game runs on 4k and downsamples it too monitor resolution, yes it makes textures clearer on lower res tv, but at the cost of performance, ps4 pro before was running on monitor resolution which mean it could use extra power for adding more graphical effects or better textures running only on 1080p, obviously it needed extra coding for developers to do that, and SS was neat solution for everyone, devs didint need to change anything and gamers got little bit sharper textures, I would prefer to run any ps4 pro game on native 1080p and make it with amazing texture or graphical effect like people do it on PC, anyway ps4 pro is not native 4k console, they should just stick to 1080p and use extra power for graphical fidelity

But, a console is almost a good idea in gaming for the time being considering the soaring price of gpu(miner, pointing at you)

I like the idea of supersampling. It can use more graphics horsepower for a display with not a lot of resolution. I'd want graphics cards to do the same thing, even low end cards. Imagine having a Pentium 4 or a Celeron D and can only use one core. Even imagine having a display under 720p. With a display with more resolution, a game can run smoother, that's my experience. I'd think Supersampling would also do the same effect- make it run better on that one core.

I do not own a PS4 Pro, or any video game console, or even an HDTV, so the only thing I'd plug it in would be a CRT television.
