Smart Phones are becoming uglier for the notch but the companies aren't eager to realise it at all rather they are busy with 'copy & paste'..!

and they never optimise the space next to the notches. the status bar becomes fat.. as thick as the notches themselves.. Plus you can’t show more notification icons on the top left side.
it’s ok on iPhone because their status bar is almost always consistently empty.. NOT android.
In the end.. it’s argument on body to screen ratio is void. Samsung is the only sane maker left.

Samsung dosent have a bezeless phone as of now , Xiaomis is a failure check mi forums for the problems Mi mix 2 flopped badly because of its issues and subpar cameras.
Asus in its conference clearly said that apple was not the first to invent the notch and the vp said that if you say we copied essential we dont have a problem with that.
i dont think there is any problem with notches other than the aesthetic looks and your imagination that they copied apple where as all these notches look completely different from Apple

Disgusting. Just copied from another smartpbone, but they don't know what the purpose oh those items they copied. For example, they put iphone 7 look antenna line on their plastic body oppo f5. And then they put notch in top of the screen although there is plenty of room in bottom bezel that they can use to put the camera and sensors. Shame on you oppo

The majority of manufactures that advertise selfie centered phones do it cutting the rest of the phone specifications for the price they ask. And then doesn't do it better than others not centered ones. All of them have flaws, only few ones have optical image stabilization but even those with with stabilization (OIS,EIS) have tiny sensors that have limited dynamic range and generally poor low-light performance. So even the best selfie cameras in the market are a joke compared with the main ones and both usually false advertised as DSLR quality.
Maybe someday someone will incorporate a good camera to make selfies photo and video. But for now there is no worthy one. It is all misleading advertising and only a couple of models are worthy of taking them into consideration considering how bad they are in general even in a $1000 phone.

Well 25MP seems to be an overkill. 16MP is more than enough for selfies and/or video call.
Anyway, I personally won't go for Oppo phones willingly again. ColorOS is annoying.
