Just hide the notch if you dont like it! Why such a big deal about the notch..after usi g the v30 i cam say LG has made a big step foward for the v series and now with the G series..

      And it`s your son on the sammy phone so he`s probably trolling some unsavoury sites and gumming up his phone with garbage.

            AnonD-246054, 16 Mar 2018G3 ang G4 maybe had some hickups like samsung phones, but G... moreG2, G3, G4, G5, V10, V20 all suffer from serious image retention issues. Reliably bad in this case. The camera quality has also been noticeably below the competing flagships Pixel, S7, S8 etc. with the sole plus that it has wide-angle, which the others don't have. Nice, but doesn't put it ahead.

            Unfortunately as LG phones become more like the others but lose their niche strengths (removable battery, cheap, etc.) and can't compete strength for strength (camera quality, battery life, screen quality, etc.), it makes no sense to buy one because a Samsung flagship does everything the LG flagship does, and then some, but better. The only exception is wide-angle. That's it.

                  LG better get rid of that notch, Pronto! They still have time to come out with a revised design. If they put the notch on it, the sales will tank. No one will pay for that hideous notch. I will not buy a phone with a notch on it!!!!!

                    I've had an LG phone since I started using android. I got the G2, G3, G5 and was gonna get the LG7 but it looks horrible with that notch so I will probably skip it and get an international s9+. but anyways I never had a problem with boot loops. I've had it freeze on me on occasion but never a boot loop. Although I've only used either the AT&T version(LG g2 and G3) or international (LG G5). I know a friend had an issue before with his T-Mobile LG G3. so I think it could be from T-Mobile's updates that messed up the phone xD but then again I could just have been lucky :D

                      it's so ugly though. They should have kept that sexy g6 look... the notch is so dumb coz there is still a chin anyways. It is so unpleasant to look at.

                            So it's true after all, LG didn't scratch their original plan of releasing a notched phone they're actually going through with it; this isn't the LG I used to know.

Until is out for sale the most you can say is "Don't say is bad before anyone has tried it", or "I like it, looks good for me"

                                        So with that small 3,000 mAh battery and an LCD screen, is it even realistic to expect more than 4 hours SOT? What kind of battery will the G7+ have?
