Nice feature set that will appeal to the business market. I just hope HTC improves the quality of manufacturing. My co-worker has had his Tytn replaced 4 times and is still having issues. Part of the blame to the Microsoft OS and part to HTC manufacturing.
If it only happened once I would say, hey you just got tthe bad one. But when it happens 4 times that shows a pattern.
I am hearing better feedback on MS Mobile 6 OS (less buggy than 5). If the manufacturing quality has gone up this will be a real contender.

As a business device this is definitely going to dominate the market, it takes the qualities of the original TYTN and builds on them. The arrogance to think that this was developed to compete with the N95 is staggering. The N95 is a consumer toy phone with overcharged GPS access and a crap battery life, this is designed to do what HTC do well... create a business TOOL that can and will integrate seamlessly with the majority of corporate setups. This device is going to be head-to-head with the RIM Blackberry series as a business communicator, not head to head with an oversized silver plastic brick.

@bluemilan 65k screen is more battery saving than a higher colour screen

To my knowledge it's due to the wm platform OS, the screens can display more, but the OS is designed not to, to save battery life.

I can see the N95 is trembling in its feet now..
3 Mpix? No TV out?
Should compare it to the E90.. not the N95..

Why 65 K color?
Why HTC doesn't use higher quality for its screen?
Is HTC worry about customer's pocket?
We'll pay more for the greater quality!

I've read that there was some kind of alignment problem with a determined series, but I haven't experienced it. The battery keeps working fine.
It is still under warranty, right? Maybe you should check with the HTC assistance. I've sent mine to repair the cracked touchscreen and it was fast - I guess it depends on where you live, though...

looks good and nice. my experience before when i using the TYTN first model, i have a problem with it. yea, the function of the touch screen hang-up (missfunctional) when i used it for a long hour time for online(about 2hours). and the battery heatup/become warm so fast. did anybody of you experience like this?

I'll change my 1 year old TyTN for this one.
It was one year of heavy usage without any problems - ok, a cracked touchscreen but still worked, since it has a nice scroll wheel and the touchscreen is not absolutely necessary.
Can't wait to put my hands on this one - yummy! LOL

niH1 Your so wrong. The two major problems with the HTC Touch were 1) the slow processor 2) and no physical keyboard. Both these problems are fixed with this phone, not to mention a 3 megapixel camera, wifi. This is phone is going to be amazing aslong as its not over 600$ im SURE carriers will fight over this phone. This seems like the phone described at the Sprint Conferance

Dude touchFLO works perfectly, the half of the times it fails it's because they didn't touch the one key, which is necessairy to succesfully activate the touchflo enhancements. I've got one, and it hardly failed a few times in 2 months !

better to buy the first tytn, the only difference is gps.. same processor, no higher resolution, no wlan 'n' mode..

The hype over TouchFlo is NOT deserved. Has anyone actually watched the various video reviews and noticed two key flaws: a) The various finger operated functions fail half the time. b) Unlike the iPhone (love it or hate it) TouchFlo is just a 'skin' on top of whatever Windows OS is running under, and so once you try to do anything other than launch an app, such as type, you're back to the conventional GUI*. And as any human factors person will tell you, you never mix paradigms when implementing a GUI. *Graphic User Interface. And in reference to the HTC TyTN II. The screen resolution and color palette is nothing special. Merge the slide out keyboard of the HTC with an iPhone and then we'll be talking.

Man, i just love it. Kaiser is gonna be one of the best PocketPC ever made.
