"As for Grid OS, Fusion Garage claim they've completely redefined the way you use a touch screen with a "completely gesture-based and button-free" UI, they say. They also talk about some wheel menu with spokes - First ELSE, anyone?"

Anonymous, 17 Aug 2011Really!? What will you do if a full screen application hang... moreWell I see your principal concern, BUT the hw-keys might just as easily get locked up, as any 'deeply rooted hook' to the touch screen. No real difference there.
I guess it would be no real challenge to make a deep hook handling a constant touch for say 30 seconds to hibernate current process and bring a task-manager up to front.

Anonymous, 17 Aug 2011All-touch no-hardware *KEYS Android? Yes please!Really!? What will you do if a full screen application hangs and you cannot get back to the home screen to get the task manager up to kill it!? With no hardware keys and everything else blocked by the crashed full screen app. you will have no option but to pull the battery. should it occur during the start up sequence then look forward to completely rebuilding the phone.

These 2 certainly looks more decent than the JooJoo. Yeah the phone does indeed looks N9 which is a nice design. But like someone mentioned, the hardware is kinda outdated.
