Samsung offers major discounts on accessory bundles with the Galaxy S9 and S9+

The 'S9 Ultimate bundle' includes a wireless charger, Gear VR headset, and IconX earbuds for $99 instead of around $400 total MSRP.

It appears to me Samsung is trying really hard to kill the Note line after the battery fiasco. These kind if promos for the S line plus prioritising software updates on S even if Note was their latest flagship. Really undermines consumer confidence in the Note line.

    Do what ever it takes to hit those numbers.

        To me, the S8 and the S9 are the ultimate phone, not only an excellent designed phone with great hardware but also a powerful status symbol, as in "this is the last phone I'd ever own" kind of thing. These bundles might have those more excited than others, pity the worldly markets who don't get them. It appears there are compromises to either bundle- one for easier charging and longevity and the other for entertainment. I was just thinking if the Gear VR was still supported, and it is. To me, that is second to the battery case in usefulness. I am curious to know how the IconX sound, but I am more curious to know how those AKG earbuds from the S8(maybe S9) sound, as it appears wholesalers have them very cheap and would love a pair of IEMs.
