Updated my N8 on Aug 20. But there is two updates left, which always fail whenever I tried downloading direct on phone... Anyone knows how to fix that. Apart from that everything works ok..

I am using N8 & i have downloaded ANNA. It is very fast OS. Compare to PR 1.2.

Australia first to launch N9.... moreYou could flash the NZ anna version if you know what you're doing, I dont believe Nokia want's anyone to get the N9 as it steals Elops Microsoft thunder but switching to meego wouldn't be a bad move.
Maemo was superb, Meego can only be better.

How to update to anna without any
defects: go to www.nokia.com/
softwareupdate; scroll thru d phones &
click on Nokia n8; under the sub-
heading for PC update, click on
hyperlink "nokia ovi suite" to download the 88mb latest version; install the
download (when prompted, connect
your phone thru the cable), & click on
software updater in the suite; after
downloading & installing the updates
(your phone will restart, if u receive any instalation error, re-install the
download), ignore any further prompt
for new updates, instead disconect the
cable, & open the phone software
updater; complete the remaining two
anna updates, including those of Social & Ovi store. Bingo!! Enjoy your breeze

symbian belle is so much better, im using it now. i hope Nokia will release it officially for N8 and E7

yes day I uodate my c7 in pakistan with ovi suite the totle update was 320 mb and after this update 4 update mor about 70 mb now iam engiong ana

drake, 21 Aug 2011in my country there is no anna yet available for n8. i wan... moreThe purple tint is fixed in some cases. I could just about make out some tint on the clock screen on mine before the update, but now it's gone completely. It was never an issue for me anyway.

For those with splitscreen qwerty keyboard in messaging, etc, but not in conversations after applying the Symbian Anna update, there's a solution:
Open application manager and uninstall conversation appl and conversation server. Then you get splitscreen qwerty in conversations. Goodluck and enjoy!

uto, 21 Aug 2011how did u get it in Nigeria, ovi suite or direct from mobile ?i too, in nigeria have no ota update...i wonder when nokia is going to put justice to that. If anybody has, pls let me know so that i will check where the problem lies. No matter what, i love nokia's credibility, good repute, customer friendliness, product mass affordability, future attendance to existing customers, love and innovativeness all in a piece of phrase,'connecting people'. Nokia, push for more, i bet ur bid for the future will be unbeatable...

the purple screen still remains issue and though photos are there in my mass memory but still they do not load in photos. and some what battery life has decreased after updating to anna.

AnonD-298, 21 Aug 2011im from the philippines and updated my c7, the split screen... morei have an n8 (philippines) and after the update, i don't have the split screen either... i hard reset it and the split screen is already there... plz do the same.. but plz, back up all of your contacts, calendar and everything that is on phone memory....
