that is what is happening in China notch is so popular because copying is trading in China
Huawei is Chinese so most they do what most companies do in China... copy
in China that will work because instead of buying something from the outside you can copy it here just like XIAOMI
most Chinese people don't even know what is the IPHONE X because it is SO EXPENSIVE no one is buying IPHONE (and because it is not available)
this phone will sell in China but in Europe or American.......

      people who wants to buy a phone search in GSM to read about the specifications and the opinions about ones they know how much people HATE the notch they won't buy it even if
      it was good (which is a good kind of notch on the P20 PRO sens it has an OLED screen and
      software support for the notch but under screen fingerprint sensor look and works UGLY)
      popular ALL WAS beats good
      simply as long as GSM is there NO ONE will buy it

          I really hope people globally wont buy these stupid notch phones to teach these idiots we dont need them. We should be in control of what we want. If we do nothing it will get worse.

                It may look bad, but that's how things work now!
                More than cutting edge hardware or features, communication does most of the job to sell some hyped products like smartphones.
                Add the fact that they'll surely advertise their camera as "3 is better than two (or one)" and the communication is complete.

                  Anyway, stop focusing on who copied who (it's the tech industry, learn history already and figure out that EVERYONE is always copying)...

                          Obviously the P20 isn't appealing and competitive enough to give Samsung and Apple a tough fight, so troling is the only way they can do to catch people's attention.

                          Seriously, it may be funny as we see it in a wide perspective, but when we consider business, this is one stupid thing. The only way to win in a competition is by doing the best, not by mocking the competitors.
                          After all, we consumers are the judges in the contest and we only judge the way that each contestant performs (in this case, the manufacturers) and not how they try to mock each other.

For me and a majority of people, as the survey showed, the notch is a glob on the screen, ugly and also if you combine it with a relatively prominent bezel due to the front finger sensor, the result is an alien, weird and ugly.

                                  And is funny watch their trucks in the door of the Apple's shop when they clearly copied them in several occasions, now and before, in features and design. Notched!

                                        I am a android lover and using smooth htc 10 oreo 8.0. but i feel ashamed when i see android running companies are shamelessly copying apple. such as my htc 10 don't have fm radio and now every company is copying ugly notch. May be one day i will move to ios if android company don't stop copying. Now android companies are also started removing 3.5 mm headphone jack.
