Without marketing, few companies (if any) would succeed. What Huawei is doing is smart. They're informing people of their upcoming phones and, potentially, stealing customers away from Apple and Samsung (which are the 2 highest selling mobile companies in North America). This, in turn, results in profit and higher sales, which is the ultimate goal for most businesses.
