At the end of the day, iPads will always be more better optimized, powerful, and more efficient than most Android tablets. I'm sure the memory will be the same at 2GB of RAM. I think they will bring back 16GB to keep it at that price goal.

Never buy cheaper Apple stuff, it lags after a short time. Learn my lesson with iPod Touch 5th generation. Just 1 year later, it lag worse than my 6 years Android phone which has an equivalent SoC.

I have been to a school where having a Tab is a requirement which the school provides "generously". I have to say that It would vary depending on the curriculum of the student and interest. In my experience using Apple products have given me a head ache because of my curriculum and my iPad seems to come up a little short on what I need it to do. So I just had to get another tab that's running on Android OS. But again its only my opinion

I bought my bro a Chromebook from Asus with 200+ USSD.
It has Google Playstore and bcoz it is desktop cpu he can coding on the go.

The only thing why chromebooks Are now more popular is that chromebooks Are cheaper. Those Are the two biggest at this moment.

On the contrary, the android tablet market is in a decline mode. There are no tablets available which can compete with ipads. Software support is also a big issue. Most of the android tablets are using previous generation android builds.

i don't think apple are well suited for education, it's a closed source OS which means it'll be limited by what developers make for it, also it dosn't allow for much customization by the school, college's, uni's. also i can't see it being very useful for teaching thing like early coding for highschools. all in all better sticking with what you've got and waiting to see if it turns into something.

This will be a major blow for Android Tabs if Apple gets the price right. It could eat heavily into their sales AND show how a tablet should be made.
