Triple cameras? Cool
Twilight color? Cool
Notch? Not cool (Dealbreaker)
Lack of 3.5 mm jack? Not cool (double dealbreaker).

And that 40 MP camera is just gimmick in my opinion. I bet Pixel 2 XL camera is of same quality, if not better. Megapixels are not always determinant whether a camera is good or not.

Needed megapixels are related to human visual accuity, a billboard maybe be printed from a 2.5 MP source but you see it from many meters of distance,on the other hand if you need to read a serial number in a small sticker in a corner of a photo, or sell a photo of a group shot to all the people in the photo,,,

(f1.4 is the aperture, not sensor size BTW!) and can't produce the quality of a decent sensor like DSLRs with less MP than the 40MP for an example, so MP doesn't count! billboards for an example are printed in the equivalent of 2.5 MP (look it up) and people are still using that as an excuse for a lot of MP.
The tiny sensor behind the lenses can't physically capture the depth of the surrounding like a normal size sensor, hence MP is not important, only the sensor and the lens.

P20 Pro do not downsize 40MP to 10MP. Camera takes 10MP photo as default. They have to do this test again with changed camera settings to take 40MP photos.

Assembling that 4000mAh battery and 40mp+20mp+8mp +24mp sensors within 7.8mm is not a joke. Everyone is outsourcing a few components and assemble them with their name. I am not saying that they have built that camera, they needn't. That they have brought us the tech is what you should be happy about. You can hate them for excessive bragging, uninspiring software, irregular updates, but please give credit where it is due. Still not convinced, just wait a few days before you hear every honest reviewers and youtubers sharing their views. This technology is 2-3 generations ahead by Huawei's standards.

The mesh wire in the portrait test really leaves in evidence the fakeness of the "bokeh" in phones, and the Pixel 2 has many more problems with the vegetation.
