Anna update for C7 is already available, Just connect your phone to your PC through PC suite, and check the update available there.

Only thing that you may have to change is battery. I know it because my father still have Nokia 6020 and Nokia 6100 and I'm pretty sure that he even haven't replaced battery.

Guyz i know some of u have question about Belle update to C7 as it looks same as 701. but still we're waiting for the Anna update . u can't expect Belle update out i think until or after Oct or Nov. here is i got news for c7 users that u will get Belle update too
(Availability of Symbian Belle on newly shipping versions of the Nokia N8, Nokia E6, Nokia E7, Nokia X7, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01 and Nokia Oro as well as by download will be announced closer to availability)

Symbian has come a long way. It was a very long and bumpy road to get to Belle. Many Nokia users simply got tired of waiting and went with something else rather than wait this long for Belle. Maybe some of them will come back, but those who left are probably still mid way through their contracts or do not want to buy a new phone just yet. If Symbian survives long enough, perhaps those former Nokia users may come back.

I'm sure android fanboys here are well aware of the story about the hare and the turtle.
The announcement will be about Symbian Belle as well as the Nokia 700/710. This latest update is indeed quite good, and anyone who has used it will agree that the Symbian OS has come a long way since the rushed launch of the N97.
