They should present this phone to the mutant contest, sure it won. I imagine that every time they make the most horrible connectors so that people buy expensive modules even to cover them because even the cases come with huge and ugly holes. And the battery much smaller than that of his brothers being a superior SoC. If this mid-range phone costs $ 450 -500, add $ 80 to the battery mod.

Just another stupid motoZcover - one day they'll wake up and smell the roses that you cannot attach mods to the phone when there is a cover on, therefore the cutout anrond the connectors is useless, and cuses more harm than good by allowing dust and other crap to build up on the most sensitive and exposed part of the phone.

Adam, 29 Mar 2018ARGH!! It would be nice to have headphone JACK!!!!!! The Z2 Play has a dim screen (even at full brightness :-( ) and a headphone jack. The Z3 Play may not have a headphone jack... but do you think that Lenovo will adjust display brightness for the better??

So I don't see them going bankrupt any time soon also lenovo is not dependent only on mobile phones they have a wide area of other business which will compensate the losses.

Let them continue in free fall and do or remove whatever they want. They usually don't care about our opinion or what we want till they watch their financial results. The sales will show the truth when they public them to their shareholders. Then we'll see the path they choose. That's all.

Regarding finger print sensors soon they will be removed and Under Screen Fingerprint sensors will replace them.
Iris scanners and 3d facial recognition is the future.

Don't know what's your problem with glass phones they are sturdy and not prone to denting like metal phone all you have to do is take a little care also we can get wireless charging with a glass back which is not possible with a Metal back .
Are you sane brother you are comparing a 2500€ phone with a 400€ phone do you think you will have the same features in both the phones
Also if you can afford a Mate RS your problem is already solved why don't you go and buy that .
I don't see any companies loosing their market share because of removing features .
From the time companies started removing the 3.5 mm headphones jack there were many trolls that were crying so it's been almost 2 years now and what's the result did the companies bring back the jack all I can see is more and more phones without the jack.
USB C is the future across the board we will see products with USB C which will be easier for the consumer one cable or one port for all your gadgets.

The'll end reconsidering at least give something in exchange or even retain some features till they find the right way, because is there is one thing that companies care, the sales, and when they are lower than expected as we see today in several brands due to remove features, sure that they'll listen better the requested features more than imposing others.
A good move could be add two USB-C type ports, but they are not interested, not due to the increased space, due to increase the profit with the less components. And the Huawei Mate Porsche Design RS is an example that the space is not the problem and is well known how big are the economical margins that they have when you later watch how much the prices can drop to clean stock.

Was waiting for Z3 play to come out and compare with samy A6+ when that comes out since I just want a basic phone with an amoled screen for reading/video. The removal of features(like the headphone jack) in more and more expensive phones is down right ludicrous and people who support it need to go in mental institutions.

You better buy a phone with 3.5 MM jack this phone is not for you as well as most of the flagship phones launched this year.
Do you think it makes a big difference for a company when one nitpicker dosent buy their phones whereas other millions of customers than don't have issues with small things and support advancement will buy their phones.
