In my opinion LG G6 design is most beautiful mobile in whole era. Simply more cut the bezels & make it more slim with OLED panel. & add more software features like 1+. Also it should be launch with latest SD845

Don't know if technically possible but surely different and maybe practical too: let the screen to the bottom and rounded(if the case is rounded), and cut it squarely at top leaving enough space for needed hardware: selfie camera, proximity sensor and so on.

OOBE. Out Of Body Embarassment. I'll get right to it. Notch sucks. Just make that upper bezel as thin as possible and call it a day. I am seriously embarrassed for all these mee-too phones and their notches. Let Apple do its thing-- especially when it's lame!

I think notches are good.
If u can place your notification and time in between the notches, then why bother to get them in main display!!!
Notches must and only must be used as notification trey and for displaying time. AND NOT FOR DISPLAYING IN VIDEOS OR GAMES. Then it would not be hated as much as now(some people are just following the trend to hate the notch -_-)

Instead of making ugly notches they should work on under screen sensors and vivo apex concept is the great example by this you can make real bezel less display with beautiful design(without notches)...

Take advantage of the OLED properties of most notch phones and see everything (use less screen) or do you want the notch to cut the content? And for games too.. There's not much you can do with the space around the notch.
