I have a 2-years old S7 Edge which has the keyboard burned into the screen.

I will buy mi mix 2s but... for me is important that the battery is enough for one intense day
If someone develope a case to charge (i suppose wireless) the phone could be enough for me. If not the battery could be a handycap for me... I have hear that mi 7 battery will be bigger... that is good... not so good that is so compact... I like more >6"

P20 pro is clearly the better phone and a different league.
However if price is the major factor, than it is not a proper comparison as Huawei has their budget Honor phones with Honor 10 to be released soon.

And amoled is battery efficient, with punchier colors, deeper blacks, brighter under sunlight, etc. Lcd sucks power constantly, is bland and dull, has terrible contrast, less legible under the sun, etc. What's not to understand?

Two great phones..one beautiful-the other..not!
One with great camera(s),the other with awesome ones..
One with great price (just over 500euros for the 8/256GB),the other one 400 euros more for lesser hardware..

I don't know why but nowadays millennials only think a better camera=better phone. Most people here saying "P20 Pro the obvious winner", why can't you see that the Mix 2s is offering a better build and SoC at less than 70% of P20 Pro's price. Surely it has better camera, but Mix 2s isn't half bad. It's great too. There are other small things here and there in Mix as well P20, the other doesn't have.
But IMO, even if they were priced equally, I would go with the Mix 2s

overall the p20 is much better. the only selling point of xiaomi is the price and the screen real state. has xiaomi has a problem implementing higher than 30fps in 1080p vids? that's fckpd considering that they're using a powerful soc.

That doesnt mean the xiaomi is as good as the huawei. The P20 Pro does not have a competitor, the xiaomi is all about price, 0 inovation, its the same recipee over and over again.

They are better than Pixel 2 check out P20 Pro 10MP night shots on gsmarena hands on its day and night difference and yes they are oversharpened and video stabilization is not awful at all its great

A notch is big no way for me.. I voted for mi mix 2s this time. A flagship chipset, better camera, stunning design with affordable price. For p20 pro, triple camera is great but I'm not a photographer who always takes photos and selfies all the time,,
