I meant to also add, if this is, as many suggest, the only flagship that HTC bring out, they need to knock it out of the park. The pantry rumoured battery won't cut it. Not judging by last year's U11plus. 4000mA barely held it due to the display.

If we mattered, most high end phones would have Samsung amoled screens, with Huawei 4000mA battery sizes, Pixel skin, headphone jack, wireless charging, BT 5, OIS on all cameras, including front, 960 slow mo at 1080p, 6GB Ram, 128GB storage with micro SD, ability to go USB to HDMI, quad DAC, stereo video recording, dedicated camera button, wide angel lens, and traditional, removable battery, IP68, s pen. Wired and Bluetooth usonic earbuds in the box, fast charging. Available in 6inch. Also available would be the same specs, but 3600mA battery for the 5.1inch version.

Joe public is likely to less bothered. Our types don't always have the influence that we would hope. Or else we would have phones with way more features. Take a walk into your local phone store, even the staff know less than we do, frequently. My girlfriend will no longer go into electronics stores with me, because she knows what will happen. They start talking, and within a short time, start babbling half truths, or common myths. Two weeks ago, I was speaking to the EE store's Samsung expert. He mentioned that Amoleds are better, because they don't suffer burn in, unlike the awful LCD panels. I corrected him politely, and left. He also stated that Huawei makes good screens, in fact, Samsung buy them for the Galaxy phones. Or the phone guy that said, a few years ago, that all the phone cameras were as good, as they were all 8MP. They don't have a clue. Go listen to them sell a phone to Joe public, who laps up the pseudo tech speak.

Thank God for someone who doesn't blindly copy the notch.
This phone actually looks very nice with good specs and now I just hope for a competitive price.
If they nail the price it might be the phone to bring HTC back in business.

Looks really good. I just wish there was not all glass back.
Glad their is no notch as it would not have increased and visual screen of any practical value. Just because a notch ads a bit more to the side of it, so what. I think its cleaner just the way it is.
My HTC One A9 still rocks super great, but keeping an eye for a possible upgrade. Good quality HTC, no wonder google invested so much time and money. Hmm 2018, HTC, Pixel 3 or Nokia, going to be an interesting second half of the year.

I think it would have actually looked unique with those white outlines shown in the thumbnail - certainly different atleast.

Great !!!
Maybe the best camera on the market.
Maybe the best build quality.
Maybe the best software experience (like a Google Pixel)
Maybe 6/128GB + MicroSD slot.
It only worries me the brightness of the screen. U11+ was a step back from U11 and 10.
