ETNews suggests that the company may have helped in getting the under display fingerprint reader working too.

                  Anyway, on topic: i wouldn't hold my breath for this. The mate rs is ridiculously priced and only a select few will be able to afford it. Besides, it's not an iphone, and people will never see a chinese brand as a status symbol so the 1600 euros of the elite will be going elsewhere. Short lived endeavor at best.

                                Yet keep the additional advantages of microLED over OLED such as proper RGB subpixel arrangement (for more accurate colours), no screen burn-in, and much longer lasting Diodes.

                                Let's hope multiple companies jump into this production from Apple, Japan Displays, SONY, etc etc. That way they will all continue to One-Up each other in accuracy, brightness, battery life, and price.

                                  Within 5 years we should get already better displays using tech MicroLED... so let’s hope we won’t use OLED in 2030.

                                    Latest rumors claim LG G7 using M+ LCD.. Why? Coz LG itself didn't trust their own OLED ka?

LG has great oled TV how d... moreThey never screwed up the pixel only the v30 is what they screwed up using there own screen that is called "POLED!" that has so many flaws on the screen too bad but they did try that's a thumbs UP for me :D
