Says it has HTC Sense. Speaking of sense, definitely glad that HTC had the sense not to add a notch like Apple or say, any number of copy cat oem's. Cheers all. ^_^ .

give an amoled panel and i am sold, could be ground breaking for htc, i am a htc 10 user, the outdoor viewing in lcd is just plain bad, no headphone jack is a trend and htc compemsates for it by the noise cancellation tech which is great and unique, hence just a oled panel and this could very well be the best htc ever

It is totally different and I dont think it carried anything from TouchWiz. The feel with Samsung Experience UI is more top notch and the improvements like popup onscreen notification is far better than vanilla android. It's worth a try and share your experience ;)

And +1 on 1/2" for U12, although the choice is more likely 1/2.3 or 1/1.7. If I remember right, Sony doesnt have a backside illuminated 1/2" sensors.

I'm really hoping for HTC to take on the strategy of going out guns blazing. Such approach might just be enough to save them. Producing half-baked devices will do them no good.

Only query i have left is the battery size, i'm praying for close to 4000Mah

Does the Razer phone use QC4.0+ & have the charger also supplied in the box? If so that would make the U12+ the second device to make use of this.

Everything is great except for the puny 5.5" display! If that's the case then that's a downer and I'm out. Currently I've got a 6.2" S8+ and that feels like the perfect size screen. Will not downsize.

                                    Whackcar, 09 Apr 2018UltraPixel 1 = 4mp, f2.0, 2um UltraPixel 2 = 12mp, f1.8, 1... moreAssuming no technological changes, which never happens, the pixel size works like so:
BaseSensor < LessMP but larger pixels, for the same sensor size < Larger sensor size with the same MP as the base sensor < Larger sensor size with reduced MP count to gain larger pixel size.
In short, there is a much larger gain from having a larger sensor, than from reducing the pixel count. Which is exactly what HTC has done. The Ultrapixel 1 was nothing but a 1/3" low mp count sensor (4mp), and it was pretty horrible when comparing to 13mp Samsungs with the same sensor size, but 13mp.
The next came the Sony's 1/2.4" 12mp sensors, while the gen after that was Sony's 1/2.55", but backside illuminated and a larger arpeture.
If you compare the quality of one gen to the next, there's a huge improvement. The only thing is that "Ultrapixel" is nothing but a marketing name, and there is nothing that differentiates HTC's cameras from Google Pixel, except for firmware tweaks.
By the way, Nokia 808 had a relatively huge, by phone standards, 1/1.7" sensor with 40mp. It had the best picture quality of all phones out there, and was able to keep up with newly introduced devices for a few years.

There are chunk of bezels still there.
This leaks obviously fake, HTC surely will make 6" U12+
U read it correct... It has 'plus' in the title.

                                      They'll make a polished version of u11+, that's it!

If anyone knows HTC more it's me. I'm htc fans since 2010 Hero and never change brand. Some put it nicely: htc4life, yep that's me.
With that kind of bezels I wish they'll make 5.8" that fits on jeans pocket.
