HTC U12+ leaked specs sheet leaves nothing to the imagination

09 April 2018
Snapdragon 845, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage + microSD and Quick Charge 4+ is just some of the impressive specs.

Sort by:

UltraPixel 1 = 4mp, f2.0, 2um
UltraPixel 2 = 12mp, f1.8, 1.55um
UltraPixel 3 = 12mp, f1.7, 1.4um
UltraPixel 4 = ?

I don't like the direction they're going. They're continuously reducing pixel size (that's different than number of pixels a.k.a megapixel count). For their sake i hope they'll get things right with UP4.

Personally I'd like to see 2um @ 12mp with f1.5 aperture, that'd be pretty epic if they could manage that. :D

If 5.8" becomes the norm, then a compact should be about 5"-5.2"(which was the normal size till now).

                  5.5 inch with 18.5/9 ?????!!!!!
That's the equivalent of 4.9 for YouTube and movies.

U sure this is HTC u12 PLUS ????
Makes no sense. I know many people want smaller screen but this should be "u12 compact" or something.
And give us a true "plus" in screen dimensions.

Meanwhile nobody makes truly big fagships anymore.
(At least 5.7+ 16/9 or equivalent) and the ones that are available don't have AMOLED.
Such a shame. I guess I'll wait for note 9 which is supposed to have a truly big screen, and than wait a bit more to get a good deal for it... sigh.

A whole whopping 5.5 inch screen. My first two phones were HTC and I liked them a lot. Now every phone is too expensive and two features short.

Hmm. Where is the rumored dual camera setup??

The 'only' second phone with "smaller" screen.....I mean 5.5 inch. The first one is Nokia 8 Sirocco. I m more than happy that atleast Nokia and HTC are not crazily following 5.99 or 6 inch game. Rest are insane.

I really wanted a powerful processor phone with compact size to fit in pockets of my office cotton trousers and casual jeans. I really started hating all such phones with 6 inch screen. Phones that aren't practical in carrying are useless.

Finally? A phone from HTC that has all the bells and whistles without compromise. (Atleast on paper/rumor). Hopefully it ends up being exactly everything that is specified here. My only issue will be on what the Google Pixel 3 will have. If this is HTC premium device than whatever Google has in store for us will be even better. Fingers crossed.

But, once you go through their pathetic after service experience, you will never stay with them. I had my HTC M8 for close to 2 years and then the battery bulged with smoke in my hands. It has been more than 6 months, I have am trying to follow up with them; 1. they dont respond 2. after I called multiple times, HTC corporate office says, battery bulging is a normal phenomenon and HTC can't compensate. All they offered is an old HTC M8 phone! I also had HTC A9 and fought with them for close to 7 months before I got a replacement phone. With all the promises of Uh-Oh protection, it is hard to claim when in need. I had Galaxy S7 edge and now Galaxy S8+, I don't miss a thing. Also, I had gear s3 watch, had problems; Samsung repaired first and the second time they refunded me 100% because they found it hard to fix (I had used the watch for 6 months before the problem occurred)
