Anonymous, 10 Apr 2018Then don't drop it.Throughout the life of a mobile phone avoid that never suffer any accident of any kind on your part or another person or pet, etc, is nothing short of impossible.

Huawei manages to put 3 camera sensors on their phone, each of which are significantly larger than the each of the iPhone X's cameras (with the exception of the telephoto one) and have larger battery without being that much heavier.

Anyone that will put a single camera on a flagship this year should have that single camera a sub-1" size but no more than 25mp in resolution (trust me, it's totally overkill), OIS, and at least 1.4um pixel size.

Really weird that you people wouldn’t just say that the phone scored a 4/10 for repairability. I can only guess that you’re trying to drive traffic to ifixits site. Nonetheless, I think that if someone takes the time to click on and then read your story that you could provide the score.

I guess they don't use OIS on all due to problems merging them into one image.
However, I want to see them give an update and enable it for single camera or video shooting. The main camera is something as it is the largest camera sensor yet since the Pureview 808 and 1020

Anonymous, 10 Apr 2018OIS on all 3 cameras? No. The telephoto lens is the only one to really have OIS. The rest's stabilisation is controlled by the NPU (AI coprocessor)

                OIS on all 3 cameras?

There is something really bad apart from bad repairable. If you drop the phone and the rear cameras protectors are hit ... when the union fails, the blow will go directly to the display, which will break not only the back but also the front, breaking the fragile amoled display too. Only a thin fabric separates the modules of the rear cameras from the display.

You can watch it in this video (in spanish) from min 6:11 to 6:17, is a teardown video too.
