Biguto, 14 Apr 2018We are in 2018 and have never released an IP68 or IP67 cert... moreMany countries don't actually have widespread NFC payment solutions, so that's no big deal.
And water resistance is a trade off we can live with for a cheaper phone, many flagship grade phones don't have water resistance, an example is the Oneplus 5/5T.
The value for money you get from a Xiaomi phone is only because of tradeoffs like these.

Comet and Sirius are nice phone names. Samsung should be using these kind of names for their phones, in tune with the Galaxy theme.

"The major difference between them is that the Sirius model is set to have a notch on its screen and its selfie camera will offer portrait mode."

                      Anyone gonna talk about this?

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2018No NFC? That's disappointing. Their 660 phone mi note 3 has NFCIf this 2 phone aren't gonna release outside of China, then it really have no point of having NFC, as they don't use it anyway.

And not mentioned that China's 2 biggest mobile Pay App use QR code.

                          It's mi7 and 7 plus.

                            siriusly?

This is kind of middle class phone for Xiaomi. Most Xiaomi high-end or middle class phones do have NFC but do not have SD memory slot, like Xiaomi Mi Note 3. This new phone have neither NFC nor SD slot. So it is neither high-end phone, nor budget phone, i.e. not Redmi brand. I guess that it is successor of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 model, which came out on Sep. last year or lower tier model than that.

In all of them aside the operatin system forcing you to charge every day or two even if you only watch it without touch it. The good ones comes with Always-on transflective color LCD screens with or without touch feature. And propietary operating systems or in the case of the amazfit pace and stratos with a custom system based in android or linux to minimize the running processes.
