    in general. yep. I agree. RAM != Preformance. but in a way RAM IS part of the preformance. as you need to have your apps somewhere running.

Especially Sony, I like Sony's phone design it's look simple and comfortable to your grip. Same as Samsung, Iphone, etc... They just keep their signature design and a lot d people like that design...

          More than 105% iPhone 8 Plus
          and more than 326% iPhone 8.

          But nevertheless, there are no good games, that lags on literally any phone.
          Are your Angry Birds lagging? Pokemons can't be caught? Is Mario run lagging? :-D

          There are no good games on Android or iOS, that are SOC power hungry.

          BTW: RAM != perfomance.

                Imagine you having the best Android/iOS "gaming" phone - so much power, 240Hz screen, front facing speakers, powerful rumble ... etc. ... and what will you play on such a device and how you will play those games?

                  Yes.. Why Not..

                    better pick real flagship phones if it's expensive

                      Screen Refresh Rate, Good Cooling System and compatible with Gaming Pad/ Switch...

                      What else??

                        They have a future but mostly small as few people wouod consider as you already have brands like oneplus, xiaomi etc. Making fast phones in $500 prices. It will only gain momentum if it has 4 core parts. Power, Battery, gaming acessories and portable. You have to develope a different Soc that will not be used for high end flagships as it will be optimized for efficiency and raw power. Big battery more than 4k with optimized cooling for longer gaming sessions. Bundled controllers and acessories to enhance gaming experience. Then lastly weight. If you want people to get your product, make it light and portable that anybody at any age can use it.

                          Yes, but with next generation battery technology meaning must longer battery life and smallest size. Unfortunately it seem still have limitations, I mean the screen size and weight because bigger screen ( 6 to 8inch) is better to playing game but it also gain the weight of the phone and not handy perform as a smartphone.

                              Actually they gonna stay and for long, reason is not games like pubg that ofc have take a lot of attention but not require a lot of gameplay daily and what i mean, last year ncsoft make a mobile version of l2 and within the next year 4 more titles of mmo coming, games like that need a hardcore farm and i mean 24/7 are online server with 5000k players that are separate in channel's per 120+player because top specs of phones are not able to handle, some may thing an emulator could be better in a pc for a game like this but actually emulators are worse than a low spec phone, battery ofc is a problem but this is the last problem to consider while screens fail to work for that many hours, amoled its perfectly at colors and quality and many think is better cause it use less battery but it have a huge problem by staying in same image for some time(search image ghosting)ram for heavy games like this should be at higher and also gamers that play those game use chat/voice apps that run jn background and all those end in heating problem that can make easy a problem to a phone, fancy marketing display like the razer its a plus but not necessary, game pads not worth for all games and it depends on the gamer and what kind of game he play, what must be to those gaming device is cables, separate device like dex station to be able and connnect it to ur tv screen and use a keyboard and mouse this is a huge plus for me and thats why i get a s8plus and not a gaming's phone

                                  Nowadays, mobile games companies earns tons of money when they do something good. Unfortunately the famous pay to win or micro transactions is cuz the customers wants that. Even if I dont like it myself, its what makes them produce more high quality games.
                                  I wouldnt say we are 5 years early for gaming phones, the future is now. They are releasing right now premium graphics games for mobile, take a look at Honkai, same graphics as console. Civilization also on mobile. Pubg and Fortnite also on mobile. Mario Run sucks but graphics are better than most Marios out there, they could easily port Mario Odyssey for mobile if they wanted. They didnt cuz they know its bad for full priced games on mobiles, too easy to pirate games. Freemium with IAP is the way to go, cuz Android is extremely easy to pirate games, while Google dont offer closed source Android version.

                                    I think gaming phones do have a future, but it's going to be a small, niche market.

                                    If a company releases a good, well-supported product - and releases an update say every year, it could be successful.
