Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium arrives with dual cameras and 4K HDR screen

      Xperia mobile gets profits on its own still by selling smartphones, and that they don't need help from the other divisions for financial purposes.
      And Sony phones ain't flop by any means at all.
      People still buy their phones because of the Japanese top notch build quality put into each and every model they have ever released.
      If we talk about specs, they don't sound the best, but it's all about the main phone itself that makes it a great phone.

      When the XZ2 came out, everyone expected it to have the same image quality as its predecessors, but turns out it was miles ahead of them all.
      And this new one, with brighter lens, as well as the power of dual camera, having one without a Bayer filter (gathers more light), will be class-leading again.

        They never said the sensors can compete with DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, but it's the main lens quality that is on par with their professional cameras, which is true, considering almost every smartphone camera lens nowadays can compete with professional camera lens kits that are interchangeable.

        Additional note, the new lenses are built with 7 elements instead of the usual 6 elements on most smartphones today.

No they will not stop making phones as they are an overall a profitable company but that doesn't deny the fact their phones are a flop despite what the fanboys congregating here say.

            1. Too thick but No earphone jack
            2. Slippery with raised back, very unstable if placed on the table, vibration will moves it and makes it fall to the floor and crack.
            3. The design of the back looks unprofessional (looks like a toy)

              This thing has a larger battery than the S9+ with a smaller screen.

                    Ok this will be the phone I'm getting. Was going for the compact but will go for this....would have preffered one large sensor instead of dual but oh well...the compact is still tempting though :)

                          Isn't it enough that Sony will continue their business no matter how many times you say it?
                          It was already predicted that Sony will go out of business by 2015, so I guess surviving for another 3 years, even being successful, means a lot to me.

                            The only thing I have to say is they need to cancel this junk before it gets in production. This phone along with XZ2 and XZ2C is just a disaster for company

                              Sony would never learn. Still waiting for a good phone from Sony after I used Z premium last. There after the game changed but Sony left behind. Even HTC is coming back on the track. Looks like Sony makes phone only for their fans. Learn from LG they listen to the consumers. Immediately they back of from the notch for V40. Let's put it phones in museum

                                    Xperia XZ2 can already take stunning low light pictures without the need of OIS, and that is only with the use of a single lens and a dimmer aperture size.
                                    This one with dual sensors, brighter apertures, and one of which lacks bayer filter (absorbs more light).

                                    DON'T JUDGE AN UNKNOWN RESULT BASED ON PURE SPECS. IF ANYTHING, WE CAN SAY THE P20 PRO HAS BETTER OVERALL CAMERA THAN THE S9+.
