Found this in the camera section of the source: "The Xperia XZ2 Premium has professional interchangeable lens camera quality ultra-high sensitivity."
Does anyone at Sony proofread what they put on their official web page? Not only is the sentence structure wrong, the facts are wrong too. A tiny-weeny 1/2.3" sensor can never compete with professional interchangeable lens cameras. Gosh. Talk about hoodwinking customers.

Oh man, this looks sick! Can't tell you how happy I am to see them retain 16:9, and up the screen size as well! Would've liked to see 6'' but this is close enough. The lack of headphone jack is unfortunate, and the funny thing is on their official page they're advertising a bunch of earphones for it which are all jack-based, but I can live without it in the end as I'll just grab some cheap usb-c earbuds.
Pending how the display turns out (please no more blue-ish whites on LCD Sony!) this is a serious contender for my next upgrade. Will have to see what the price difference turns out to be vs the Asus 5z in my country when they both launch.

Nice surprise to have a phone announced without barely a single rumour. Just flew under the radar, especially in today's age where rumours fly for months before launch. I like that.
About the phone itself, What I like: New large-sensor, large pixel size and low aperture camera looks very promising, return of the 4K screen, IP68, 6GB RAM
What I don't like: Lack of the 3.5 mm headphone jack in a 12mm thick phone that still retains the camera shutter button. What logic is this, Sony? Expected better from you.
New design is absolutely self-defeating. What's the point of 6.4mm edge thickness, when the main body is nearly 12mm thick? Also, bezels could have been reduced and battery could have been more.

Still, large bezel!!! Really sony is out of trend. I think, one day they also have to leave this business like the popular VAIO. Samsung have their own shops. In one department store, they even 2 shops. And almost all the others shops have their shelves full of samsung, huwaei etc... you can rarely see during these days..
From T610 to XZPremium. I never missed 1 of the high end. But when sony opted to stay foot on their old school design technology of huge bezels in lieu of bezeless, less color saturated IPS LCD instead of beautiful color saturation of OLED and its variant AMOLED, traditional screen glasses instead of the popular curved glasses, I have to shift to the company which is satisfying all the specs i like... Well, we cannot obligate a company do do such but i have the freedom to choose what i want.... I might come back as when XZ2 Premium will come to a reality having the above specs. Otherwise, its sorry for SONY.

I expect Sony to withdraw from mobile phone business very soon... This phone is lame. Everybody is ditching the monochrome sensors - it was the biggest non-sense in recent years.

i love everything about this phone , except that BACK! it looks like a entry-phone from 2010.. or like my butwhole..I dont know whats worse to compare with..
