The picture also confirms once again the phone will have a notch on the display.

And a battery size that nobody asked for too. Huawei beat them all in this dept. In fact, most Chinese manufacturers beat LG/Samsung/Sony/HTC. HTC dabbled with the U11+, but used the a screen that rendered the battery increase null and void. Also, what is the difference between the G series and the V series? Seems like two flagships that compete with each other. Perhaps the G should go for a 5.4 inch screen, and the V should go for the 6 inch. Keep the same cameras etc, but differentiate in some meaningful way. Having 2 six inch phones with near identical specs and features seems bizarre to me. I get that some say the V series is all about video, but when they are, this year, using identical cameras, processors, seems like software is the only difference. Meaning the G series would be deliberately limited. Odd.

AnonD-731400, 17 Apr 2018how about amoled screen and integrated fingerprint inside d... moreSince now the leaks show mono speaker and rear mounted fingerprint scanner.

Too many announcements and i'm still waiting for a good phone with underdisplay fingerprint sensor and LTE B20 band. The Mi 7 has one but is a model traditionally without B20 so who knows how much time i'll need to wait.

Or it's a hardware key for the ThinQ AI no one asked for.

So the name change rumours for G series were fake after all?

Does the power button being on the side hint at an under screen finger print scanner ?
