i called the customer care, they don't have a answer

I just update my o1 into 2.3.3 few days ago,
And now i regret it, some of my games got improvement
But some got more lag..
What more sad is now my battery only last for maximum
one day, in reduced brightness and offline mode(no 3g/edge)

i have updated my optimus 1 to 2.3.3 a week ago...
but now i am realising that 2.2 was best...
as 2.3 has some issuues like...
-poor battery backup
-torrent not working properly
-sometimes it get overheated
-reduce performance
-some apps show lagg...which were working fine on froyo...
so to all optimus users...i ll suggest that it works best on 2.2.2

update is available but i think it is not sutaible with this battery. for this battery , 2.2 is best OS

update was pushed to mine today. hosed my phone. i can literally watch my battery die and it won't charge now. it says it's charging but it does not...
all of my icons are different, i am missing applications, it rearranged my menus, the keyboard is way too small and i typo non-stop now. couldn't be more frustrated. my phone was fine before this stupid update. i delayed the update until this morning after the alert last night and this morning my alarm did not go off because of it. freakin awesome...

Realised after upgrading to 2.3 , a pop up (cut copy paste) appears everytime i double tap a word to edit it. IN froyo, this problem isnt apparent. Experiencing this? any help

I updated my optimus one a week ago
1-The touch has improved, so is the video playback and sound both music and ear piece
2-browser now supports flash(although only ads are visible, i cant stream songs)
3-it now displays hindi fonts
4- bloatware has reduced although the pop-up bollywood celebrity gossip app still remains.
The apps which were removed are
file manager, aidiko book reader, bollywood song streaming app, LG app advisor, LG app installer, task killer is gone, Layar,
firmware update notification is gone which is bad
only new addition is a "download mgr"
the maps app eats the battery, force close wont help, uninstall updates , clear data and force close it.

Gingy (2.3.3) is damn gud............fast,stable and more battery life. very happy to get update

read all the comments, still updated to indian ver of 2.3.3 i.e v10b
in froyo, in the settings, touch batter usage,
noticed that cell stand by took only 24% of battery
bt in gingy, cell standby was at 46%!!!!!!!
thats the main reason for battery consumption
i just wanna beat those guys who developed this update
now, imma try the romanian rom and will see, if the problem persists with indian GB only or what?
have any1 tried the v10g romanian stock rom

suggest you google that battery issue ... other phones had the same problem, needed to change the wifi settings
