As the owner of a desire S, I can't really see anything new here. They really need to overhaul the Sense UI. Android grid icons look dated and boring now, being cloned with little creativity from all the manufacturers. I for one don't see neccessity of these high screen resolutions when the menu grid icons are as dull as the 2008 models and don't bring out the best of the phone's abilities. Give us some eye candy similar to WP7, not tiles but something with a bit with life in it, it's almost 2012 and most phone UI's are very dull to say the least. Look at tatmobilui on youtube for some inspiration, this is just dull to the max.
