Geric.770, 22 Apr 2018YEAH! May the notch trend die now. Or continue? Agh. I'm ... morehave you EDITed your comment?
any way that was the right thing to do
and yes Apple should continue NOT because it is "iconic" but because they made it the right way
the removal of the chin as a replacement of the touch ID was a good idea since you have a place for adjustable gestures (and 3D touch REALLY helps)
and the notch is used to display notification as a replacement of the LED flash (iPhones had it right?) and react when touched
BUT the display was a $HIT think god it had AMOLED author ways you would of had to charge it 3 times a day! you have HUGE black bars on the top and bottom not just for the notch an the chin but for the 18:9 screen to
and even if the app support it you will end up with a gesture less Apple like display :P
so if any manufacture is ready to embrace themselves and the risk of losing there respect (with suffering from the same bugs and issues the X had) and try to make a notch as go or batter the IPHONE X notch you are will come ;$)
or you can kill the bezels and make a TRUE bezeless phone ;-)
DAMN this comment section switched from (the story of vald's phones) to (how valds PUNCH LINE lured an ARMY OF NOTCH HATERS)

AnonD-744321, 22 Apr 2018I NEVER said I hate the NOTCH but yah may the notch "trand... moreyup. only the headphone jack.... i really love listening wired headphones than going wireless.

Agh. I'm neutral on the notch though. Will you guys agree that Apple will continue this "Iconic Display"?

I didn't thought that I'd like such article but it was really nice to read about your journey in the Mobile phones world.. thank you for sharing such cool stuff.

Motorola clamshell phones are my favourite phones before smartphones take over the world.

I agree with him regarding the Pixel. The instantness that it provides the user, is just to hard ignore. Performance matters to me a lot and also the software, the camera and battery. Display and audio quality isn't all important to me and anywhere from decent and above, is absolute okay for me. It's sad though that Pixels are not available in our country. That's why I'm always left with Sony as my only option. Sony got the software and performance right not the camera and battery. I really crave for the Pixels 1&2l right now and I'd choose these over any other smartphone today.
