When OP think of themselves as some sort of industry leader that spends hundreds of hour and millions of dollars in R&D, while they are just a subsidiary of Oppo, and that's where all design choice came from...
I wish the 6 bomb, so they start to question themselves, and start acting again as the actual "flagship killer compagny" they promised to be, but haven't been since the oneplus 2

When I read "70 prototypes", I remembered how the iPhone 7 alone had 10 different prototypes, just to come with a bigger camera and no headphone jack in the end.

Honestly he should say - copied iPhone and Essential phones design. Tried it with OPPO VIVO handset and now we are adding One+ stamp to it with some modifications.
That's what honesty should be.

"Honest industrial design" what does that even mean?. Not sure the nanotech coating on glass is something I'd want cause of the JerryRigEverything clear mod.

So that's your own design? You are just copying everything! Which is disappointing a lot. Your first ever phone was the only phone that attracts me before, until you lost your magic these days. I'm sorry Pete Lau but I am really disappointed on your phone.

Yeah they honestly copied Essential's and Apple's design. And would probably copy next Apple design as well. Agreed, its a process.
