Eve... moreYeah...Huawei gets credit for Sony's Exmor-RS which enables 960fps video, Huawei gets credit for Cambricon's NPU, Huawei gets credit for TouchWiz's dual-app mode, Huawei gets credit for the "balanced design" complete with the flashy side button on P8 which they "happened to" release after Sony's Omnibalance, Huawei gets credit for using colored glass backs after Samsung, Huawei gets credit for "proper" dual camera which fall far behind the single cameras at the time while HTC's earlier dual cameras are "improper", Huawei gets credit for the notch, they "invented it years ago", just "didn't have the courage to release it"...yeah, right.

Face unlock an old feature bought from grave by apple ( android don't really have 3d one to challenge that.) Not that's needed we still have awesome fps and Huawei does make them good. Besides you really want who's the first part?

May I suggest that P20Pro's 10MP samples be added to the photo comparison tool? Because the 40MP samples really suck even in good light, and I'm curious how far the pixel merge is gonna take it.

And Huawei is the first company who brought proper, usable dual camera setup with their Honor 6 Plus (HTC One M8 doesn't count because the dual cameras on that thing is nothing but useless). Gesture navigation was also there on Huawei flagships prior to Apple, as in Mate 9 Pro, P10 series etc. Huawei was also one of the first to bring NPU to smartphone SoCs along with Apple. Other things such as 960fps slow-mo and face unlock are copied from other phones, but... who actually cares? That's how technologies evolve and become widespread. Companies like Samsung, Apple, LG all do it and nobody seems to be criticising it.

AnonD-714274, 24 Apr 2018Kirin 659 isnt that bad. Infact its much more superior than... more659 is in no way more superior than 625. Check the Anandtech comparison. 659 loses out on every aspect to 625. Plus 625 will be well supported by the community seeing how popular it is unlike 659.
Comparing it to 636? Well now thats like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Raw performance of 636 is closer to Kirin 960 and leagues ahead of 659.

And even the npu. Also read the forbes article on who thought of notch first. Btw who was the first one to bring proper dual cameras,960 fps,notch,face unlock,gesture navigation ?

So a premium price is well worth it. Besides the regular P20 is the one which wld compete with the flagships. This phone is a premium phone hence the premium price like iPhone X is to Apple.

Unfortunately, except Apple & Samsung (may be Google to some extent), no other OEM's can sell their phones above 40K in India. It's DOA.

But Indians are at loss bcoz s9 here not snapdragons.
None of flagship has 4000mah battery.
So left with little options. Yet overpriced huwai..
So unless price drops no chance

Wow. That pricing shows some overconfidence at huawei's. 65k for the pro and that means it is locking horns with the likes of S9+. At thus price, only a lost soul would buy this instead of S9+ or the Pixel 2 XL. Talk about being dead on arrival. It is overpriced by atleast Rs 20,000 not that i would have batted an eye towards this even if it wasn't.

The 636 simply destroys it in CPU performance, with the big A73 cores doing the heavy lifting. The Adreno 508 is also comfortably ahead of the weak MaliT830 mp2.
A better comparison would be against the SD 630, which again beats it in gpu performance. CPU is about the same due to the 2.2 ghz clocked a53 cores used in both.

I am sure the price will come down to 49k very soon. And during Amazon sale days- it be avaiilable for as low as 39k with exchange and cash back and other benefits. At 65k - it certainly is overpriced. Note8 or S9+ are price in that teritory and even they are running sales with offers and discount

There's a reason Honor 7x is half the price of this one. Better camera, probably expected. But twice the price, just no. And weak GPU comes for free
