no wifi... if it had wifi I'd consider this phone even IF none of the samsung phones will sync up using iSync

Dear "Ix", probably you havnt read it properly.
Samsung got the award in "digital media interface" category with the Croix interface, not the phone.

I have never heard of so much sh**t in my life. how can a phone that does not exist win an award. the phone is a concept and has been made by samsung to show what they are capable of. The resons the phone has not been release is it cost samsung a lot to make and they need to lower production cost before they will mass market.

For all the people arguing about whether this is an iPhone rip-off or whether the iPhone rips it off - neither. Given the timing of the announcements, they were both secretly in development in parallel for some time. Touchscreens were hardly invented at the end of last year...

Wow,i have always found that this mobile phone looks great.
I am impatient to buy it as soon as it comes.
Regarding comment of Samsung having copied the iPhone.
Unless the iPhone has a 5 MPX APN,all the features of a decent smartphone(clipboard,MMS,anyone ?),a sliding QWERTY keyboard,etc...,i sincerily doesn't see how Samsung could have copied it >:-)

i think samsung is easier to use and has a better interface.i love samsung!!!!a real beauty!

Actually this is an important phone cause it was presented BEFORE the iphone, so basically the iphone is a copy of this phone, and obviously of it's interface too.

This looks like a great phone. I allways liked samsung mobiles and wouldn't mind getting my hands on this phone when it comes out. Looks like iPhone will be getting lot of compitition in the coming year.

O.K it looks nice but for Samsung to attract me people to its mobiles it as got to improve the functions on there mobiles as they have made nice phones but what puts alot of people off there mobiles its profiles you can not set your own ringtone or music as sometimes as a call tone but defendiatly use it as a message tone which turns alot of people from buying there mobiles they have been producing for a bit now but never seem to change this why?

well... it is nice to see this development
However, the true test will be when and how they bring it to market. On this point Samsung is already behind. LG, Apple, and somewhat HTC have already come to market with options.
I hope they release this soon. More vendors is more competition which is better for us consumers.

I believe this is all enough to trash the rumor going around that F700 is merely a concept phone because definitely a concept phone is not ever likely to receive an award unless it's the "Best Concept Phone Award" if ever such a ridiculous thing exist.
