They sold 317 milions in 2017, on the sexond place is Apple 213 milions, 3-th Huawei 150 milions. But Samsing is no longer in top 5 in China market because Huawei Oppo, vivo, Xiaomi, and.. Apple. There is Hiuawei No1. So in the next year if Samsung does not do something with flooding market with new phines, like was in past or like Huawei does now, Samsung will be next year on 2place.. Like in 2-th bigest mobile market. Chinese OEM is there now no 1, Xiaomi..

Haha.. You need to know that Huawei campain is same like Samsung, or Apple even biger, not in all EU countrys but in Germany, UK.. for example. Also Samsung does not have low end, mid phone from 2018.. But Huawei have like 20 with Honor and Nova..
Im using right now Samsung S9 smaller version, but that is not reason to write something like you. Maybe you're in the wrong part of EU, or just use cheap Chinese stuff, and think same for the OEM who is no3 on the world, on the bigest market in the world no1. But in one part i agree, Huawei is ok in low end in mid Xiaomi is beter in flagship Samsung, in Andeoid world.. but look at the camera of the P20 Pro.. The revolution.

Maybe the market should decline. After all we dont need new phones every year, they all do the same just little bit faster processors which almost noone needs. All the planet is full with still new and working phones thrown to garbage just because there is a so called new model in the market. So much wast of material and resources. It has to stop somewhere right? I think at some point people will stop changing phones at this speed.

Dr's evidently are seeing about normal level of head tumors. Could it be that on some level that' is due to phones and thousands of hours of continuous sar exposure and lesser extent saturated spaces of Wi-Fi waves. After ten years, data is gaining momentum as it takes awhile for collective signs to develop. I hope that developers find ways to minimize risks as we love our phones but safety comes first.

Only those who can't afford a real brand or people with zero technical knowledge.. And of course kids and older people who don't care what phone they use as long as it's cheap.
Sorry, but Samsung dominates the low and midrange phones in Europe, and I don't see this changing soon.
Everyone I asked about chinese brands said they wouldn't buy one because of the spying apps.
As for high-end phones, you have to be nuts to pay so much for a chinese brand when you can get Samsung Sony Pixel HTC LG for the same price or even less.

If you look better every time after Apple raise price of iPhones samsung did the same with S series, than A series must follow S lineup, and J series must follow A... also when samsung raise prices other companies get freedom to do the same just a little bit cheaper... if Samsung price S9+ 1000$ you will see Xiaomi mi 7 for 700 instead of 500 because 300$ less is still great deal you know...

AnonD-558092, 26 Apr 2018They failed in Canada at the very least (P10 series and GR5)In Philippines, they succeeded with those 2 phones you've mentioned. P10 was a huge praised phone last year here, and it received huge discounts because of its great attention of the camera and petite size.

Now only Picture & Talking on screen is way out, it involves 5G . Otherwise totally Saturated market all over world. At least no body has died of radioactive rays after decades of use! This clearly shows the margin of profit more than double, old companies earned, when same chipset used by both Chinese and Korean or Japanese!

Samsung.. who knows maybe they will in the future, or 2019. Because Huawei sold 150 milions units in 2017, but only in China 90 milions, 60 for the rest of the world, and thats a problem for them. If they enter in US market with Huawei brand, not only Honor, that would increase sales.
