and no I don't think that most (if not all) of those phones will lock like the Apex since it has some bugs such as speakers placement and selfe camera (yes they made a pop up camera BUT missing the secondary sensors like the light level sensor and taking some of the internal space)
any way people will complain when there favorite brand have taking the notch as there HIGH END icon (BBK for example owns OPPO VIVO and ONEPLUS they ALL have notch as there high end Icon) in attempt to make it batter then Apple
and essential have invented the notch so......

I must admit the comeback of Nokia to me meant Pureview and quirky designs not another copycat company. Maybe it is still early days and they are building up profit to re-invest in design else Nokia is just going to be another slab amongst the other 1000's slabs.

Ugh! Hate notch phones but it feels like this is inevitable. I think Samsung might be the only ones who stands their ground on this. Rest of the phone looks good. Not sure if the finger print reader position is correct though. I thought this was a China only phone. Surprised that the article says it might be a global release.

the hard truth is that NOTCH (and All kinds of copycats) phones sell the most in China
maybe because iPhone are expensive?(and because there is no such thing as copyright in china)
since this phone is rumored to have MTK P60 chipset my guess is that they will sell it in china (just like Samsung "DEAM LITE" which looks Chinese)
as long as they don't try to sell this gimmick A$$ piece of $HIT in Europe/America then it is okay (if they don't mind losing some of there reputation)
