I had high hopes for Nokia but apparently they never learn, and don't really want to succeed. iPhone has the notch because it it truly bazeless. This has the stupid bazel at the bottom yet they have a notch . So what trade conveniency to display a logo? Could have just put that bazel at the top and left the logo at the side. Obviously Samsung is the only sane company left

Hey I don't like crapple too, but at least they have NO CHIN on their phone. You have to give them credit for that.
I don't know about you guys and girls, but I'd rather have a 2 year old Samsung or Sony than a brand new replika that has NO DIGNITY!
Also, everyone knows china phones spy amd steal your data..

If you're not, why you bother about notch for only 200 euros or some thing like that? if you are only Nokia fan, maybe Lumia with great Windows 10 mobile lol. do you know that Nokia 7 Plus is on the market today? Does that phone have notch?
Did you know that Xiaomi have really good smartphone Note 5, with same processor like this Nokia, bnt without notch, but chin is there, only for 180 euros.
Did you know that, soon, Samsung will have 5 phones from J series 2018, without the notch.
Or.. Did you know, that Huawei have in their P series from 2018 three phones, all with notch, and today Huawei is Europe, especilly P20 Pro known..
Like i said HMD is startup company, they have on market 10 smartphones from 2017-2018, only one will be with notch. If you dont like it dont buy it, same goes for iPhone X, but Apple have only one 18:9 or 19:9 phone (with notch). So who wants a that aspect radio on iPhone, X is the oonly one to chose, and that phone i think does not have fps at all.. :)

Friends, do not be so categorical. Our subscriber communicates with the guys from HMD (Russia) and he told us the following. HMD also were against the notch, they fought to the last. However, they were forced, in particular by the Chinese division and by Russian retailers, which require a notch.

Nokia x was launched way ahead of any x device ever made. Crapple stole Nokia with every step, mocked nokia with every step just because they had nothing but copied devices, so, they had to bring Nokia to silence. That is why I love what Nokia did here. The best they could do to mock apple. I absolutly love how they actually did it. X from their old budget devices, crapple design at a price of a midrager. Showing two important stuff. Crapple milks money out of people with a design. That can be done by nokia in old x series, buget devices schema. And? Well, that screen ain't costing 500$ as apple claim. Bravo! I would sell the first 100 devices with 20 € just to mock crapple to the bones.

To me, most similare phone in design to this Nokia (just differente camera back location) is Huawei P20 Lite. Front is identical just with differente brand. I guess thats a thing in this price, on top, small notch, botton chin. Al least if someone dosen't want that design, 20 more OEMs have their phones without notch from 2018, but chin is still there in this price segment.

Something for all...

A notch AND a chin? The point of a notch is to go bezel-less. Having a chin with a notch is dumb. Either you go completely bezel-less with a notch, or have a symmetrical bezel like the Samsung S8/9.
