Weekly poll: Xiaomi Mi A2, hot or not?

27 April 2018
Snapdragon 660 plus Android One at a decent price equals a winner. Or does it?

Sort by:

No 3.5 Jack, and clean android looks awful. Otherwise price is amazing for offered hardware again it is Chinese brand, so risky as usual

If you mean as hot as fire it is definitely not. Any mediocre to flagship phones nowadays can have 8 GB RAM and Snapdragon 845, so what is the selling point of this copycat chinese phones. Why don't you make full bezelless phone to stand out crowd. And also worth noted, usually this kind of product because it is cheap, so everything else also come in a cheap manner. Cheap plastic, bad speakers meaning cheap speakers, cheap build and material quality, cheap inside and outside and so forth and so forth, in conclusion your phones will self destroyed

Anonymous, 01 May 2018It won't be cheap.. It will be priced around 17kAnd that isn't cheap ???

from zero to hero, 30 Apr 2018IR blaster is there, but yes it wolud be better phone with ... moreAh thats good they made room for an IR blaster. I wasn't that bothered about them before until I actually used one in my fathers note 4 and its blooming amazing.

Bigger battery and I think it would sell like hot cakes. In fact its probably the reason why they didn't put a bigger battery in it. It would outsell the MIUI running phones that precede it. Shame really. I can't imagine a better mid range phone.

oh yes, this phone is the best in its class. this is the real budget king, this might share the glory together with nubia z17 mini which has same chipset and almost same specs and about same price and very beautiful design too.

Sorry. No headphone jack. No buy. >.>

mi A1 has 3.5 mm audio jack whuch makes my only hope in xiaomi line up.
This time, Xiaomi is killing it on the latest iteration (mi A2).
Waste of space, and pathetic camera setup trying to be iphone x.
o c'mon xiaomi, don't be such an HTC.

Yes GSMArena, the Mi A2 availability in the west is so spotty that Xiaomi hasn't even announced that phone yet are in fact any official confirmation for that phone even exists anywhere...

Don't get that hiped about the Mi A2, since the experience of a lot of users of the A1 sucks, myself included. Xiaomi is unwilling or incapable of fixing the bugs of the phone. Just look it up on the miui forum or xda developers...

why can't they just chuck a 4000mah battery in it? if they actually did it i bet half of my liver that it'll be a surefire hot sell.
am using mi a1 rightnow. even with what said as power efficient processor, i still only got 5-6hours of screen time. imagine in bigger screen and less efficient processor.
