ZTE patents another dual notch display smartphone design

The two cut-outs appear a lot smaller than on the company's other recent "Iceberg" design concept.

i liked the second design hope it goes with ui to.i dont really hate notch if the notch has some purpose to serve like face id on apple or u can put some good front firing speaker in notch.at the end of the day its the ui how well they manage it in it.

    Hmmm.... most strange.

    I wonder, provided our understanding of the gravity of the consequences is indeed accurate.... what could possibly have recommended violating that agreement as a sensible choice?

    Did they simply think they wouldn't get caught? I bear ZTE no ill will, but I find it perplexing that they would take such an enormous risk - it really could jeopardize their entire smartphones division losing access to such critical software and the best chip maker on the market!

      I appreciate the tiny cutout like Essential phone. But WHY having a notch for that button!? O_o
      And the other one doesn't even make sense! It's an empty bezel! So why having it in the first place!? O_O
