hello,has anyone here ever used a dell streak?!it`s fantastic.just great.the size is very good for handling and day to day use...so I really don`t understand why so many complain about the galaxy note.i think this is a great idea from sammy far greater than the crappy galaxy s that I owned and even sgs2.this is a dream device,huge screen and battery with great options and power.i use the dell streak and htc desire hd and they both are big,but the dell is not by much bigger than desire hd,and you don`t fell the 220 grams it weights.trust me,just try one and you will see.so the galaxy note is great and I hope it will not bet a 600+ euro device...regards.

Why, why, WHY does the 7.7 NOT have a pen ??? The 5.3 screen of the note is maybe big enough for doodling or jotting down a few notes, but completely useless for drawing or painting.

Noone forces you to upgrade and just because Samsung releases lots of products does not mean it doesn't care about existing customers. Samsung has updated my Galaxy S from Android 2.1 to 2.2, 2.3, 2.3.3 then 2.3.4 with a little over a year, this to me is a manufacturer who cares about its customers. Not like for example LG or Motorola users who collectively cry for updates to their products, but are only now getting Gingerbread.
Nothing wrong with Samsung releasing lots of products, it gives consumers choices and its up to you to make those choices. Its ridiculous that you seems to think this is a bad thing, choices are never a bad thing. It drives competition with other manufacturers, and it keeps prices down. Its up to the other manufacturers to keep up, its not Samsung's fault that they cant.

They need to stop spamming and flooding the market with all this useless junk. What happened to uniqueness? What happened to having a nice phone and enjoying being the top for a while? Are samsung that greedy? I guess they are.
With all the recent phones, the GSII is being the under dog already. Again, samsung gives us more reasons to hate them.
I would pick an iphone4, n9, arc, sensation any day over a samsung phone, I mean for god sake give us a break! Stop this nonsense and let people enjoy what they already paid for.
I feel sorry for samsung users, because not only that they are not unique but once they buy a samsung phone after a week their phones seems outdated lol.

This is not a Super AMOLED PLUS as in the SGS2, the difference is that the 'Plus' denotes it being a NON-PENTILE display. So, the Note has Super AMOLED HD PENTILE display. Which is better? That depends on how you define 'better'? The note has higher pixel density, but its a PENTILE display. The SGS2 has less pixels but its proper RGB, which means smoothers lines. Personally I would pick pixel density.
