The most funniest thing in LG - G2 have 3000 mAH battery(Really Very good) in 2013 and in 2018 they released G7 same battery capacity, why they dint understand this basics things

Why LG why! Of all these years you've been hearing complaints about your flagship's batteries! They are not just enough for day to day basis; nothwithstanding it has LCD panel with Quad HD resolution? Alright LG. You even copied "the notch". And whats with the thinQ name? Ewww. Alright LG. You may now rest in peace.

WTH, Other smartphone makers follows the ugly notch of Apple? I hope Xiaomi will not follow suit. Cause so far only xiaomi did'nt release yet a phone with notch.

You go through all the effort to becoming relevant for the first time since the G2 in the android space, LG and then someone clearly had a brain fade and now its back to mediocrity and poor sales. Like who in the blue hell do you think is going to pick your flagship over Samsung? Definitely not gonna have special battery life with this phone. Crying shame because LG have great DACs, cameras but seemingly always dodgy screens and battery life. LG blew their shot.

LG is just copying the failed features of Apple, but the difference is that Apple at least still tries to improve year by year, while LG literally had little to no improvement at all.
And just so you know, my sister was already once a victim of LG's bad quality product.
Her G4 was great when it works. Camera is great in its prime time, until it died from boot loop. Never gonna fall over that again.
Now she has an iPhone 7 Plus and while pricy, at least delivers the promise of flagship quality control.

James Whister, 02 May 2018Why people hate LCDs? For me i think its good, no screen bu... moreWe wouldn't hate the IPS LCD if only it didn't have a notch. The notch can't be hidden by making the screen black, since IPS LCDs can't produce blacks properly.
Add to that, they made the screen larger and with even smaller battery. To make it worse, the G6 is already quite terrible in this aspect, and I'm not expecting anything to go better with this one since 10nm LPP doesn't provide much bump in efficiency as compared to 14nm.
I predict, with Oreo OS, this will score 68h on GSMArena Endurance test, but with the AOD off.

Also, the battery life is doomed to be less than decent for a flagship. Just wait till the retail units come out. And your inky black lcd is nowhere near the real black of oled so no. That notch will still be visible at daytime even when you hide it.

Instead of a software button.. just fill the bottom bezel with hardware touch buttons..
Now you are just a clone like the rest of the China phones.. except more expensive.

Now making cameras vertical is copying Apple...and making phones thinner? How foolish to think that Apple was the reason for anything but the notch on the phone.

I hate how people on this forum are constantly overlooking good features and complaining instead. First point is battery life, to which I say that we have no clue how good the optimization on the phone is. Second point is the notch, and its been made clear time and time again that it can be hidden by making the top section around it black, which is great considering the inky blacks of the LCD. Even though they coppied the notch, so what? There are so many features like the telephoto lens on the back, the loud sounding speakers, and most importantly the Quad DAC and the headphones jack. Take some time to pay attention to what's good about the phone next time people, because if the price is good, this is going to be one hell of a phone!
