03 May 2018
The two dual cameras are easy to spot - but then there are two more components with ribbon cables and LEDs.

I'm glad we accept HTC for not having the jack so long but the better compromise is the HTC U-Sonic USB-C Earbuds. How come other sound companies like Audio Technica, BeyerDynamic, JBL follow suit?

Peachy001, 03 May 2018Can't see a wireless charging coil. Be miffed if it does no... moreThere was no Wireless Charging coil from the U11+. That's just a NFC coil. I hope that the U12+ has a bigger coil = Wireless Charging.

Maybe HTC decided to bring a duo like Huawei did to Mate 10.
                One 16:9 and one 18:9

A 6.0" QHD+ screen with !6:9AR will be very welcomed...though i doubt it. What's up with the drop in battery capacity from that of the U11+ to just below

you are aware that they are a mix match of iphone 6 components right ? and maybe an HTC sim tray ?

peachy001, 03 May 20185.5 inch display? I thought it was 6 inch? We've heard it both ways (5.5" and 6"), I was basing it off this:

Likely there's some mixup in at least some of the specs for the U12+ and U12 Life.

in terms of quality and hardware htc is best in all android devices, i am sure they come up with some new innovations and not copying the trend with notch

in terms of durability htc is number one in all android phones and best part i always like they are copying others

It's may sound exciting but it's definitely different.

Can't find myself to be optimistic about it. HTC has always impressed with creativity and product presentation but when it comes down to the actual final product, there will just be dissappointment awaiting. Who's fault is it? Their executives? Cuz it damn isnt their creative or marketing or engineering department.

5.5 display means 16:9 is still alive.. And also there'll no NOtch.. This smartphone is gonna be bang

I would actually think that those are the Laser sensors for the camera.

The pressure sensors would be the longer black square thingies, I think.
