Counterclockwise: the brief popularity of stereo speakers

High profile brands slowly adopted the stereo sound, but most are still stuck in the mono days. Some are trying to innovate, though.

I'd still take a phone with a 3.5 jack rather than Stereo speakers any day.

Most of the music I listen to is in stereo so I prefer stereo speakers in every system I buy.

Don't care about streo speakers as they are rarely seen on phones. A single loud and clear speaker, preferably front firing is all that I need.
