I dint see the point in the J6 with the A6 launching soon. Unless they reverted the naming back to the J series,. Hope so as Samsung's phone portfolio was fine as it was, the A6 just makes things confusing.

But then there's the smaller Redmi 5 with similar specs as the Redmi 5 Plus, with nearly similar performance level, just a smaller footprint.

-3.5mm jack (nice!)
-beautiful Super AMOLED display (possibly)
-5.6" screen size (6" is way too big)
-Android Oreo
The bad
-microUSB (ffs, USB C should be a standard by now even for mid rangers)
-weak performance (will depend upon the price, but it's a Samsung, so......)
-screen resolution (they keep on packing super low resolution screens for their budget devices)
-price (again, it's a Samsung, not expecting any changes soon, so........)
