I would love a phone turning into a tablet, cuz phablets is just a gimmick word used by the press, there is no such thing. Tablets must be at least 7 inches like the good old Nexus 7.
Although the idea is good, i cant see myself taking a risk with a machine like this until we are absolutely sure it doesnt explode like Note 7 and its durable enough. First adopters - good luck!

Wrong timing Samsung.
World economy is not sound, salary hikes have stopped.
Even 1000$ IphoneX was impossible for many.

Kyle Ruggles, 05 May 2018Meh....
There goes 1 handed typing, there goes multitask... moreA couple of things. One handed usage will be no more tricky than a current smartphone when it is folded and 1 side only is active. Multitasking will work better with a bigger screen, no? A flexible screen will withstand breakage more so than the glass rectangle you have now du to it being a foldable display and not rigid
Hope that clears the confusion.
