Apple management should think of what to do with their time n stop disturbin a company that provide for everybody since they concetrate on xpensive phones that is beyound reach of many people they beter look for a way to improve in tunover n leave the android people alone.

Dude, 07 Sep 2011No...the reason people done that reflects how people nowada... moreI have been an iPod touch 4g user as well recently replaced 5800 nokia with galaxy s2.
Clearly iPod touch 4g looks a lot polished and refined. I love galaxy s2 very much along with iPod but when it comes to accessories iPhones and iPods shine well. I have a music system and it has a dock for placing iPod but no provision to put galaxy s2 and listen through the music system.
And also apps shine so well. Android has utility and customizing apps while iOS shines lot interns of all apps. customization is bad and no widgets though. But OS is well polished and cloud service working so good so far. Right now is on beta.
Restoring and back up lot easier using iTunes rather than my galaxy s2.
I jailbroke ipod touch twice before and made many tweaks and themes.
Overall galaxy s2 has advantage with sd slot and removable battery. Bluetooth transfers but overall I like both iOS and android equally I really don't see true multitasking on android either. Most websites I visit have mobile pages so flash also no big thing. But with galaxy s2 it's good feature to have. Only good thing is widgets big screen removable battery sd slot apart from that android isn't that well polished either. I credit samsung for good hardware but software side apps need to be improved so much. Apps honestly not good in marketplace apart from few of apps and each paid app costing like 3-4 dollars vs most apps 99 cents on AppStore. voice integration is good along with swipe keyboard.
I am waiting so much for ice cream sandwich update hoping google improves experience.

That's why we see global economy in bad crisis because most people put their thinking behind. And for the record, iPhone is not a device that well-crafted because iPhone have many issues as well. The reason it sell well because Apple have successfully make iPhone a fashionable brand of phone, thus making it a cool stuff to have. Not more than that. Just a simple gadget that overpriced but surely not well-made or well-crafted.

If someone has iPhone they immediately try to look at phone but if it is some-other company they don't even want to look.
That's because apple has good marketing. Apple release single phone every year and no-one controls software or hardware except apple. So marketing is easier. It's just an eye-popping tech. I can say galaxy s2 beats iPhone at many areas while iPhone is good at some other areas. But galaxy s2 is always lower valuable price of tech than iPhone.
Samsung will soon achieve brand value just like apple if they stop releasing too many clutter of phones and release 2 handsets or 3 every year. Today I buy galaxy s2 and galaxy note comes , what happens ? Galaxy s2 price drops and again after iPhone 5 release they drop the price again. That's why they lose value. Apple is really crafty and release few products they put same price throughout year and retain brand-value.
Samsung doesn't understand this tactic. If samsung behaves little bit intelligently yeah they are awesome.

Don't get me wrong, they have good products BUT I don't get jealous if someone has an iPhone because I know my phone is better than an iPhone. They have too many restrictions on their products which I don't like. And I know my S2 will be better than the upcoming iPhone 5 because I'm sure as hell Apple won't level the specs with the S2.
When Steve dies, so will Apple. I don't think they can find someone as genius as Steve to continue the legacy he's going to leave behind.

This is realy irritating...Apple couls focus theyr resources in R&D and make better phones and improve IOS further but no that´s too hard sueing other companies over ridiculous claims is much easier

It's coming people! The iPhone 5!
The device that will dominate the headlines from launch day. Samsung knows this, that's why they launched so many as fast as possible in recent weeks. Other manufacturers better take note and do the same.
Next month onwards starts the year of the iPhone 5.

android phones have no brand value while apple has brand value .
for example , iPad 2 in hong kong sold out on first day of launch at double price and people still waiting in queues ready to pay double price ($1000 starting price lol)
can u do such record with help of samsung or motorola ? atleast sell it at same retail price with better specs than iPad 2 ? and make customers wait in long queues . NO NO NO u can't .
u can't beat brand value .
iphone 3gs second-hand price vs any-other phone second-hand-price released around same year (2009).
thats why brand value has more importance . even looking at cars or watches u can conclude that .
infact second-hand price of iphone 3gs = first-hand (brand new) price of many phones released in 2009. (which were same price of iphone 2 years back.)
Thats what i call "trust" . Branded items has loyal and trusted consumers. u can't beat selling value or can't beat second-hand value either .
if someone has iPhone u can feel jealous but u won't feel jealous if someone has a samsung or HTC phone. because iphone has more value than them.
so iPhone is a fashionable eye-popping piece of hardware. android OEMs can never achieve soon maybe after 5 years apple brand value maybe lost ? who knows.
i use galaxy s2 but still i know the brand-value of iPhone. So whether u buy that or android-powered-phone u can't beat iPhone's value.
i like iOS and android but iOS feels more secured. in android-phones i like widgets,big-screen.

I hope Apple gets more powerfol device because I feel there is a kind of "stuck" specs on them.
I love my Atrix but I really like iOS but all the iPhones seems inferior for me once iI used the Atrix.
Android is nice but I like more iOS, the Nokia E7 is a fine piece of hardware, but cant compare withe iPhone or Atrix, I hope Apple soon get a good trail on it, I really want to see "Clash of Titans" between Samsun/Apple devices in Hardware, but looks like Apple likes more stay in low profiled hardware with nice software than get the "bull from the horns" and make a more challenging hardware.

My problem here is when i see idevise user telling to everybody that their idevise is the best. It s a good devise but by far not the best. Apple product are for people that don't understand technologies. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT IN TECHNOLOGIES WE NEED TO HAVE STANDARD. Specially when you are a developer. Android bring standard in smart phone but not apple product.

Why do you think apple can not put a bigger screen on iphone 5. it because of your stupid resolution. the resolution on your iphone is like the resolution of old tv 4:3. the resolution on android are all 16:9hdtv. If iphone put a bigger screen like 4'' + all the app of your app will be deform. Look at the ipad its has a square shape. if iphone go bigger than 4'' its will have a square shape also.if their change to the 16:9 aspect ratio standard every app of the appstore will be deform because their run at 4:3 natively. That s what you get for not following 16:9 hdtv standard.

As far as I'm concerned, almost every single smart phone in existence is 'inspired' by Apple, with the iPhone being one of the first smart phones of its type. Surely Apple could see this coming years ago.
