Droid X 4.3" is too small for Web browsing. Choice of 5.3" Note (and maybe along with a big tab for reading/email/etc.) or a 7.7"
Tab for everything would be perfect. Note can be available anytime for
spreadsheets, docs, reading and Web and with full integration/convergance including secure resources
available from anywhere (e.g. cloud, Kindle,etc.) this
is the the closest yet to the long awaited PDA/phone;
price is irrelevant to function.

Duly noted on the Sales Taxes in Scandinavia - this is something to seriously bare in mind - VAT at the 25% ish mark adds a healthy chunk, compare it with the relative prices in those countries (See what an Experia Play costs in DK!!) and I would say that it actually represents pretty good pricing for the spec of the handset - I mean LOOOOOK at the specs.... I'm HTC thru & thru but I gotta admit Samsung are looking good so far in 2011 and I can't see it trailing off anytime soon

think about nokia releasing a tablet . I don't know what it will be running but the sales man would give them idea like this . "For the two new tablets it would be like this , the remake of the entertainment king the new nokia n8-02 which has 2ghz dual core processor , can take full HD videos with its state of the art 16mp camera and Full HD video play back for 10hrs the longest for viewing a Full HD video on a battery source , and the second one , the new nokia e7-02 which is the only tablet of nokia that looks like nokia booklet 3g and has a detachable keyboard . It runs the new windows8 and can run android 3.2 honey comb or the new symbian tab designed for nokia tablets . It can capture Full HD video with the 8mp fixed focus camera .

Just to damn big.. 4.5" is the max screen size for smartphones.. there shouldn't be devices with screen sizes between 4.5" and 6.5" 'cause they're too big for smartphones and too small for tablets..

Even with such a high price tag you will have to understand a few things. There isnt any phone outthere with a 1280x800 resolution , Super amoled Plus is the best screen money can buy , Exynox chipset is the best in the business , Camera is 8 mpx with full hd recording , again the best quality ( beats the n8 in video recording) and it has a stylus ... I mean how cool is having a stylus (sort of retro style , reminder of the old touch phones). And what phone offers a 2500 biggy battery out of factory :O
And again , pricing is for the launch , it will drop drastically during the foloing months of it's release. Like all samsung products , it looses value fast
And just so you know bigger is indeed better.I own a galaxy S. My friends tell me :
"Oh your phone is to big"
"how can you carry arround that unconfortable phone"
"Isnt it to big to carry arround"
After i let them play on it theyre all like ... wow , this is actually nice.
This 4 incher has become sort of small for my hands , so this 5.3 inch would the the perfect upgrade for it :D
Just hope it will be available in Romania

This is a hybrid device, a mixture of tablet/superphone but leaning more to the latter. Gone are the days where a phone was just a phone, sooner or later making phone calls will be second nature to these devices or there will come a day where phone calls will no longer be the case.

Is greedy but nice.
I still prefer an Pad but for Samsung standards is amazing.
BUT I will not catalog this one as a phone. Too big to fit in my pockets and too expensive for have it around at my hand.

The price of this phone can get you the most powerfull gaming laptop that will game for 3 years. I see no reason to buy a phone that cost up to this one.

Wesley, 06 Sep 201110" tablets are currently going for betweem £280... moreyeah but there are no other tablet that can draw using pressure sensitif stylus, not even flyer.
so the main focus point in galaxy note is the stylus capability for taking note,drawing,handwriting,croping
are there any tablet/slate can do that??
for the people who gonna use this for playing games,log on facebook,browsing watching youtube the galaxy note will be useless for them cause you can also do that on dell streak with a cheap price now.
but if you want to take a step forward to replace your notebook and any paper material at your office or home galaxy note is taking us beyond a new future.
this is the ablity i always dream on a smartphone.
but the price hard to swallow
