I'm a Filipino but I only seek good speculations that delivers for my daily tasks than taking "Selfies", which is really useless on my entire life.
Sure, I'm owning a Huawei phone (which is also chinese company), but its a good performer with good battery and consistent features that doesn't come late in the game.
(Spoiler alert: it has a mediocre camera but I don't care about cameras though. Hehe XD)

Good to fool people and mostly pinoy's does not care about spec's, the most important feature they are looking is the phone that will take a selfie that can hide their imperfections, majority of Asian countries loves or they are addicted to selfies not usability of the phone and the specs of it.

Wanna know why IOS is so popular in U.S?? because 90% of Americans prefer basic smart phone which is iPhone. They don't even know what phone they are using or O.S they are using, in fact they don't really know how to insert/remove a SIM card to the phone. In other hand, ANDROID is for SMART people that loves more feature, an open ecosystem and much enjoyable O.S....

iphone is pricy in india - its 4/5 times of average income in india.
1000$ note 8 = 67000 INR
1000$ iPhone X = 89000 INR
this itself kills 5-10% customers.
I would love to have iPhone X(super smooth UI, good apps) but I dont have money to buy. :-(

The real deal was Jio bought over the backbone fiber-optic network across the country at dirt cheap from RCom (his brother Anil Ambani sold it to Mukesh) and with VoLTE revolution, they basically used the data network for calls hence they could offer it for almost dirt cheap.
The data bandwidth gets limited once the days allowance consumed

Jio is a revolution in India! I mean there's no place in the world where you'll find data as cheap as in India! You get 126GB Data (1.5GB/Day), Unlimited Calls, Unlimited SMS, No Roaming charges for 84 days at just INR399 that's roughly $6 !!!!!
It's really unbelievable how they are able to manage and even earn profits (So much profit that the owner Mukesh Ambani is 19th Richest person in the world)!
