Every Android ph... moreThe problem with Android is that, first google thought about a Desktop OS, then they changed to Mobile OS...
So, from the very first day, the Android's core is optimised to run on high amount of resources and thats why it is a bit of eye candy...
But for the future... if the "ECO" thing, that has taken over the car industry and many other industries, comes to the mobile phone industry, then Google would need to completely redesign the kernel of the system, which is a very daunting task and hence even the "not very distant" future looks bright for Android, the "real" future looks bleak if not googles goes crazy....
on the other hand, Symbian and iOS is inherently optimised for mobile devices, so they have a good future,(even if Nokia tells it's life is till 2016)....

Every Android phone should come with at least 1GB RAM and dual-core cpu in order to work like a single core iOS/MeeGo phone with 512MB RAM.
But I wouldn't so blatantly forecast the demise of Android in the upcoming years. The market is still evolving pretty fast and new OSes are coming and old ones are going.
So... hold your horses there buddy...

if you dont believe it , go and watch the same on tube...there are plenty.....

I think they have completely lost their own identity as a human to the Galaxy S2 that is why they act like the imminent release of the N9 is threat to their existence.
We want the N9 and we are getting it no matter how much you put it down. We read the reviews, we watched the demos. We know perfectly the risks but it has never changed our minds.
People can live without dual-cores. It will not end our lives. A hundred thousand apps? So what?. How many are actually productive? Dead phone? Please. A phone is only dead when it cannot be used for communication anymore. Out of the box, the N9's got all we need and more. We know it's yesterdays hardware but even so, it does not change our desire to have it.
It's the Harmattan UI that swept us off our feet. We want that. A simple and yet modern user experience. A phone that performs to our needs without having to customize ROMs.
So get that to to your heads you Galaxy S2 freaks. You aggressive sales talk will never work with us. And get a life! get a girlfriend! STOP WORSHIPPING A DEVICE.

And then found the durabili... moremy freind has a nokia 1100 that is still living..durability is not an option for everyone(not you)..they buying and selling phone within one year of usage..i cannot say nokia is one of the best in quality if so no one buy any phones from other manufactures

I buy 1 Nokia, I have to buy 2 Samsung of same price range cos Samsung cannot last as long. Means I end paying 2X the price
Nokia has Ovi Maps that's available offline, it's workable in low internet connectivity areas. Saves $$$ on data rates too. Plus travelling difference countries, just need buy cheap prepaid sim, it works. Of course that's not something gaming geeks interested in high powered specs would know how to appreciate.

N8 has got only 680MHZ ARM 11(OLD Architecture)
and 256 MB ram..now a days these specs are found on low end android devices..N8 still focused on camera 12 mp..that i've mentioned in earlier comment about purposes..N8 has no eligibility to stand infront of todays android devices.

AnonD-16803, 08 Sep 2011meego is meaemo6 and still uses linux meego-harmattan(n9) is maemo6.. and it contains the meego API file (supports applications for meego- but it's not the same kernel as meego)... i've seen some time before the full changes between maemo and meego-harmattan.. and I'm not sure but i don't think it supports full size linux apps...

Well, from the price tag I can say the time of death of meego. "Time of Death 07 sept. 2011 whatever hour they announced the price". If meego is really based on Nokia’s maemo5 or if it is a new revived maemo, I talk about myself, for such price I will never consider it. Let us be honest the OS is just launched, if Nokia expect people to sacrifice other already established OSes for Meego Nokia must sacrifice a bit of profit. The Hardware Specs are not that great to put such price. From my point of view Android was never to stand a chance against IOS except for 2 reasons.
1. The variety of Phones brands. 2. The reasonable prices.

nokia 4 life , 08 Sep 2011android is nothing against nokia and microsoft :-) nokia wi... morefirst of all nokia users have to understand one thing..if nokia have a well equipped place in your heart its because of the old N95,N97,N73 so and so..they did nothing more yet.these phone were great successors.i agree with that but.Nokia fan boys still living in those feedbacks and they are ignorant about huge changes happened in smartphone technology.you are far away from android and ios.as far as i concern nokia devices can be used for two main purposes 1)for camera 2)for mp3 nothing more..when a nokia fanboy uses an android or ios,suddenly he will get shocked of its exploration.so .you have to come out of nokia thats why android fan boys hurting you..its a good attitude to you
