It is ... moreYeah I agree, waiting a few years inbetween upgrading to the new model is probably the best way to approach getting a new phone these days (especially iPhones for me because new flagships aren‘t cheap). Apart from the new bezel-less trend and faster chipsets etc. I can‘t see what more could drastically improve to warrant buying a new phone every year - maybe a fingerprint scanner under the screen?

So don't fool yourself with that LAGdroid thing... Even cheap Redmi pro i bought to my sister year and half ago still don't lags at all ... And guess what? Honestly still don't get why there's so much hate for the iPhone. It's a durable and reliable product. Is it overpriced? Yes no one's gonna deny that (even for hardcore Apple fans), but you also get with that price; a great international warranty service and really, quite high quality parts (screen, chipset, camera, wifi antennas, bluetooth radio etc etc).

Mr , 15 May 2018Actually Android users are the ones who are proud that they... morecouldn't agree with you more. People who want iPhones just want high quality build phones that work, not the latest. Granted its expensive but you get a great international warranty and tons of software support for years to come.

No change in iPhone units sold for two coming years. It is actually good news for Apple. Because total smartphone sales in units last year is shrinking by 6~8 % nowadays. The decline trend will continue for a couple of years. People used to replace smart phone every couple of years, but now it become every third years. Market is fully saturated and there is not much brand new demand except replacement. advance in smartphone tech is also slowing. Not much reason to replace perfectly working and usable smartphone after 2 years of use. Smartphone now becomes durable goods and appliance like TV or fridge.

Apple users usually buying not the highest specs but good design and simple phone. Of course iphone is trend as well nowadays and lot of people just want to show that they have it.
I'm preferring Android only because of customization but otherwise Apple have much better accessories (watch, earphones etc)

If high tag price no one want apple product anymore. People learned from mistake for buying too expensive phone but after 2-3 years it got lag and not smooth anymore. Most phone would take 2-3 years to get lag, even cheaper phone like vivo and oppo too. With the price of ipx, you can buy 4 vivo v9, no regret. Buying ipx you will regret.
